Man... I really wish a time machine could import the Ric Flair of '89 or '88 into today's WWE. Wooooooo!
It's probably more due to my age (mid-30s) than anything else, but I don't think I'll ever have an emotional connection to a wrestler the way I did with the Nature Boy.
And y'know, when you don't really feel passionate about the wrestlers, it's kinda tough to be a fan. For the past few years, I've actually enjoyed reading about wrestling -- on forums like this -- more than watching it.
Sometimes Rock pulls it off ok if it actually looks like he's connecting the move to the opponent. So when he usuaully does the belly belly suplex it looks like he's not even touching the other guy.
