Agreed. However, I'm glad of it. I'm sure I wouldn't have followed a link to read that, and it was a good read. | odessasteps

That sure is a lot of hate he has stored up for Russo. Did they ever have face-to-face problems, or is that just Cornette hating him because he sucks?
And why all the McMahon hate again? I must've missed that story.

I don't know if I'd really call it hate - he just said he doesn't want McMahon to monopolize the wrestling industry. | geemoney

Yeah, but he said it like 10 times. Seemed like a little more than just "I believe in variety" to me.
If Hogan ends up chasing Russo & Ferrara out, does Corny come back?

He does have a lot of heat with Vince/WWE for the way he left the company as well, I think. | thecubsfan

No, he's got his own people for that spot. Kevin Sullivan has said he expects to be brought in for that position. It'd take at least Hogan & Russo both leaving for Cornette to get that position.

It might be related to
I would sit in embarassment as the Spike TV representative zoned out on the nonsense, thinking "he's going back to the UFC shoot and telling their crew that the guy that writes our wrestling show can't even spell."
i.e. Vince Russo is such a know-nothing stupid head that he can't spell correctly or speak proper English.
I only watched about 6 minutes of this shoot video with Russo and Ferrara, but I don't hear whatever it was that Cornette heard. Maybe that got edited out. | Amos Cochran

I think they're on good terms, but Powell and Meltzer have both said that Nash isn't interested in a creative position. | DJ FrostyFreeze

Slightly off-topic: I watched the first eight 10-minute parts of that interview (taped 2006?) and it was pretty interesting to hear Russo & Ferrara talk about how they broke into the biz and how they used to put TV shows & PPVs together. I havent gotten to the part where they talk about WCW at length yet.
The annoying part was how Wade kept interjecting, just to remind everyone how much "insider info" he knows. A lot of it came off like "Hey guys, I knew that too!" to me.

I think it was 03 or 04 because Wade was talking about Cena and his Chain Gang were, at that time, were on TV and it was like Hogan and his Hulkamaniacs. I saw all 14 (15 actually) parts of the WWF/E and the 8 parts of the WCW info and it was pretty interesting. I had it on in the background and I think Ed could move into voice work.
I was disappointed that they didn't touch on Oklahoma at all. Otherwise, a pretty good listen. Russo has a pretty small vocabulary. He though that when people were "Amassing" it had to do with a church gathering.
