| #1 Posted on 29.10.09 1648.18 | Instant Rating: 5.34 | I was at the Montreal Comic-Con the first week of September SHILL~ing Inter-Species Wrestling, the International Wrestling Syndicate and the YoungCuts Film Festival.
A cameraman from G4TV's show EP Daily (Electric Playground Daily) was there and practically broke his neck doing a double-take when he saw the Inter Species Wrestling stuff. He did an interview with me, we gave them some clips to use and they edited together the piece that ran last night.
(Sadly they cut the bit about the "ass-kicking" that I took at the end of our last show.)
You can see it here: http://www.elecplay.com/watch/19/297/4/17
Or if you have problems with that link, you can see it here: http://www.g4tv.ca/
On the G4TV site, it is the EP Daily for Oct 28/09. The interview and clips start at 17:45.
Worth seeing for the ridiculous variation on the D-Lo Brown vest that was used at our last show.

Is this the thing with the wrestling ketchup bottle that lost when he was squeezed? Without looking, I think I was suckered into buying a couple of their DVDs which I still have in the original wrapping.
I hate to trash stuff you're involved in Llakor, because the IWS does do good stuff, but if this is the stuff I think it is, it's *garbage*.

You probably have some of the very first shows of the promotion, which while they have stuff that I love, also have some stuff that didn't quite work as well.
If you wanted me to swap them out for stuff that you would prefer, send me an IM and you can send me those ones and I will send you ones that you probably will like. (Or I can arrange for you to do that in person if you are interested in the next C*4 show in Ottawa with Petey Williams and Hotshot Johnny Devine on November 21st.)
Inter Species Wrestling is admittedly not for everyone. I usually describe it to people who know a little about indy wrestling as "X-Rated CHIKARA" That is a bit of a simplistic description, but the point is that if you hate CHIKARA, you certainly aren't going to like our stuff. And if you like CHIKARA and are horrified at the thought of watching a raunchy version, well you probably won't like it either.
The people that do like it, like those who like Alexander Keith's, like it a LOT.

This RULES. Congrats dude, that is a really really cool featurette they did on you guys.
Now I have to go back and watch the Beef Wellington vs. A BEAR match that I got to call on the IWS "V" show (which is a crazy-good DVD that everybody in the world should own,by the way. :))

If not him, then I may have to make sure to head up that was just to SEE THAT once in my life.

We are currently negotiating with about four venues, three old and one new to try and get some dates, hopefully a series of dates so we can build back some momentum.
When we have someone/some place signed I will announce something.

Funny how "x-rated Chikara" is fairly accurate, but both Quack and Rotch don't seem like the description.
