We're kicking off month 21 of what I still like to think is the only place on the Internet where you can find all the new DVDs on a single page, every week. Because only I am this insane, mostly. Click on the "DVD" icon to find the previous weeks.
THIS Tuesday, you'll see most of the 320 DVDs, 14 Blu-Ray and 7 UMDs listed here come up for sale in the usual spots - we've noted where 9/2 ISN'T the release date where applicable.
As usual, my own personal biases come through in selecting the
PICK OF THE WEEK:
Doctor Who - The Invasion of Time (Episode 97) (The W at Amazon) (BBC, 1978) The Doctor, Leela and K-9 arrive at Gallifrey and things generally go nuts - a lot of people are down on it, but this story is one of my very favourites - love that "chase" through the interior of the TARDIS. Six episodes, 2 discs
Since I picked that one, let's also note this one:
Doctor Who: The Invisible Enemy (Episode 93)/K9 and Company: A Girl's Best Friend (BBC, 1977/1981) The Doctor and Leela meet Professor Marius and his robot K-9 - four episodes - K-9's debut is paired with the special/pilot where K-9 Mark III comes to live with Sarah Jane Smith.
