| #1 Posted on 18.6.02 1947.57 | Did anyone catch the "highlights" of last night's Brewers game? Or was it just local for me?
I woke up to it this morning...while I was eating breakfast unfortunately!
For those that didn't see it, Jenkins "Theisman'd" himself. It was just gross...turns out he "only" dislocated it. I would've sworn it was a clean break from the angle.
Anyhow...later in the game Alex Sanchez hurts his wrist and knee...man, the crew could'nt BUY luck this year...even if they had the money.| Promote this thread! | | Freeway

Ah, it's a dead crowd...
Still, real sick stuff.

fortunately,I haven't seen it yet.
An old college roommate of mine actually kept those kind of things on a video, including Alou, Theisman and Clint Malarchuk.

| #4 Posted on 18.6.02 2133.24 | I went to third grade with Clint Malarchuk's daughter Kelly. As I remember...she was kind of hot...for a nine year old. (I WAS A NINE YEAR OLD BACK THEN, too)

Well...I COULD have said that, but it just didn't have the same flow. I could have also said he "Vicious'd" himself as well...or any other vomit inducing injury I could find.
In any case, the Brewers actually WON again tonight...who knows...if we maim or hobble a few more of our best hitters we might actually have a team! ***sigh***

| #9 Posted on 19.6.02 1857.34 | I was watching that game live - I think they edited out all the really fun close-ups where Jenkins' leg was going one way and his ankle was just kind of hanging in another direction entirely; it was quite sick, nearly lost my dinner at that.
However, I think the best moment of that game was when Jenkins' replacement, Alex Sanchez, injured himself in the 4th inning. Although I feel sorry for both of them, that just reeks of unintentional (bad) humor more than anything I've seen in a while
