Nobody?

This (sports.espn.go.com) seemed to come as a bit of a surprise. To me anyway.

Injuries really caught up with him the last few years I guess, and arguably really hurt his HOF chances. Still, a heck of a quarterback in his day, and I guy I always enjoyed watching.

I guess this ensures the Ravens are drafting a QB in the first couple rounds. They probably want to find themselves a servicable veteran as well though, cause I sure as heck wouldn't feel happy about Kyle Boller being the exeprienced presence under centre.

In the Baltimore/DC area, talk of his retirement started mid-season last year. It wasn't a matter IF he announced it, but WHEN he would do it and hopefully before the draft.

Such a shame that the injuries stalled his career.

He played hurt way more than your average QB would have.

Enjoy the retirement Steve! You deserve it!

Being a die-hard Titans fan, it was sorta a sad day. By far, one of the toughest SOBs to ever play in the NFL.

Now I can start wearing my #9 Titans jersey again.

I didn't expect this one. Without him and Bruschi, as well as the departure of the coaching staff, the 2-time defending champs may have a tough season ahead of them. Belichik and Brady are awesome, but not good enough to overcome this.
