This episode was REALLY boring the hell out of me until that Brian/Peter fight at the end. The Babysitter Herbert side plot was incredibly dull with the big payoff coming when Chris straight-out asked the guy if he was a pedophile. Too bad they just cut away when that question was asked. As for the jokes themselves, they were just random. Was "Osmonds wasting water" the best they could come up with?
The main story...well...it's Brian pining over Lois, which we've seen a hundred times already.
Thumbs down, but that Brian/Peter fight kicked some ass.
Manatee Gag of the Show: Stewie at the Grateful Dead show.

I thought the fight was the worst part. It was like the chicken fights without the damn chicken.
Agreed. The big fight, Herbet pining over children, Brian in love with Lois... it's all been done before. And maybe it's the New Yorker in me, but I really, I mean REALLY hated the pimping of Massachusetts in jingle by Peter throughout the latter half of the episode.
Only good jokes were the Osmonds wasting water and "Damn, nature! Why you so scray?".
Brian winning Lois a knock-off Stewie doll was the only part I laughed at. Achewood did a much better Grateful Dead joke just this past week: http://achewood.com/index.php?date=02282008
Really, Family Guy has just been repeating itself and running every joke into the ground ever since it came back.
I had an odd vibe about the premise of this episode. Stan's spent so many episodes of the series trying to turn the Steve into a man that it seems weird that Stan would suddenly get threatened by it.
