(Click on the "DVD" thread icon to find previous weeks - believe it or not, we have over a YEAR of pages just like this one! To see new DVDs released in the previous four weeks, quick links are here: 1/1 - 1/8 - 1/15 - 1/22)
Hello.
This week, we get back into the heavy release schedule - over 300 DVDs (AND 6 Blu-Ray, 3 HD DVD and 2 UMD) - hopefully we've got at least one thing which will be interesting to you buried SOMEWHERE in this list. If not....well, I don't know what to tell you. Go back to your ham radio.
Still here? Good. I want you to skim this list, and I want you to REPLY telling me what here gets you interested - or if you're too good for that, give me a reply telling me ABSOLUTELY NOTHING interests you! I kinda doubt that'll be the case, but I've certainly been wrong before.
For those of you who HAVEN'T been here before, here's a quick rundown about how we roll:
We got the big list on one page! The whole enchilada! The entire salad bar! ONE page! We pull them from Amazon (where they are so desperate for hits they only give us 12 results at a time) and compile them all into the single page you get here. We like Amazon, though - and all our links will take you back TO Amazon should you be interested in purchasing what you see here. Hovering over links should provide you with Amazon's current price (which will usually be at its lowest during the pre-order and on the day of release!)
Adding an item from here into your Amazon shopping cart provides a friendly referral from The W - consider making your purchase - ANY purchase - through us, as it'll place a few coins in our tip jar!
Because Amazon sometimes can't come correct with the information about certain movies or TV shows, you will see some additional exposition from me (or, more likely, a bad joke) in addition to the listing along with IMDb icons (which can be clicked to take you to a movie's IMDb listing) or tv.com icons (which can be clicked to take you to the relevant episode list from tv.com)! And if I can't give you THAT, I'll sometimes take you directly to the distributor's own information...especially when they offer a trailer or free preview.
ALL links will open new windows while keeping this one alive, so you can click, look, and then close to come right back here!
If you don't mind my asking for some promotion, please tell a friend about this post (or vote this thread up Digg/Propeller/Newsvine/Reddit/&c. with a click of the icon(s) of your choice at the bottom of the page) because it takes me a long time and I'm a big fan of more eyeballs! We're also happy for you to share this link to others via email as well - a lot of people do that!
Please feel free to add a reply and share your two cents about any of the listings you see here - show off your impressive knowledge, share your opinion about something you've seen, something you're looking forward to seeing, or make your own crappy jokes which are better than mine!
We also hope that if you buy something, you come back and tell us what you thought about it! This hardly ever happens, but it's always appreciated when it does!
If you have something to say but don't want to say it publicly (or register for the board), you can also email me direct at CRZ.DVD@gmail.com!

Man, a lot of softcore action this week. Let's start with the legitimate movie type releases and then move into the completely plotless stuff...
The Sexperts (1965) Eugenie de Sade (Eugnie - Liechtenstein/France, 1970) Cecilia (France/Belgium, 1982) Emmanuelle Goes to Cannes (France?, 1985) Sex Machine (Himo no Hiroshi - Japan, 2005) aka "The Strange Saga of Hiroshi the Freeloading Sex Machine" - pink film Bianca Beauchamp: All Access (2007) Two discs of latex fetish something something Cloak and Shag Her (direct to DVD, 2008) I think it's funny that this got an actual Amazon review - from an obvious connoisseur
GORGEOUS LADIES OF WRESTLING: GLOW: Greatest TV Moments (3pc) I'm pretty sure this is a repackaging of three earlier releases into one - since it was $20 for a single disc and now it's $20 for all three...yes, you can feel ripped off if you bought them earlier I think
MORE PRETTY PICTURES AND BIBLICAL MASHUPS: Scenic Wonders: Proverbs - Alexander Scourby "The Voice of the Bible" reads Proverbs while you look at pretty pictures - I mean, "beautiful scenes of God's creation"
318 items as of RIGHT NOW. Come back Monday and we'll revise that number with the late adds, subtracts, and changes. We'll also grab Amazon's top Preorders and see what's popping amongst the people actually shelling out!

I just caught the trailer for this. It looks AWESOME. Ocean's Eleven (Once del Mar?) with day laborers. It has Julie Gonzalo (Parker from Season 3 of Veronica Mars, also the cheerleader from Dodgeball) speaking her native Spanish. She's Argentinian! Who knew?!
Originally posted by CRZRight at Your Door (2006) Mary McCormack - Dirty bomb hits Los Angeles - nobody notices
I just caught this and actually thought it was pretty intense, nice twist at the end.
How DARE you no-sell my smog joke!
Would this be a good time to share that I enjoyed The Invasion (even though I am not a Nicole Kidman fan...and never bothered to see any of the previous incarnations of The Body Snatchers)?
Awesome. I wish it was two hours. I loved the end and look forward ot see what happens. Ryan the Temp as Michael's boss? Awesome. I can't wait for the DVD of this season to come out.
