(Click on the "DVD" thread icon to find previous weeks - believe it or not, we have over a YEAR of pages just like this one! To see new DVDs released in the previous four weeks, quick links are here: 12/25 - 1/1 - 1/8 - 1/15)
This week we got 175 new releases! We got 169 DVDs, 3 Blu-Rays, 3 HD DVDs! We got....well, not much this week, actually. Still, we're bringing you everything that's coming out Tuesday and who knows, maybe there's something here that YOU'VE been waiting to grab. If so, please tell me - maybe your excitement will be contagious. (Probably not.)
For those of you who HAVEN'T been here before, here's a quick rundown about how we roll:
We got the big list on one page! We get them from Amazon, and they'll take you TO Amazon. Hovering over links should provide you with Amazon's current price.
CLICKING on links takes you to the Amazon shopping cart with a friendly referral from The W - consider making your purchase - ANY purchase - through us, as it'll place a few coins in our tip jar!
Because Amazon sometimes can't come correct with the information about certain movies or TV shows, you will see some exposition from me (or, more likely, a bad joke) in addition to the listing along with IMDb icons (which can be clicked to take you to a movie's IMDb listing) or tv.com icons (which can be clicked to take you to the relevant episode list from tv.com)!
All links will open new windows, so you can click, look, and then close to come right back here!
If you don't mind my asking for some promotion, please tell a friend (or vote this thread up Digg/Propeller/Newsvine/Reddit/&c. with a click of the icon(s) of your choice at the bottom of this post) about this post because it takes me a long time and I'm a big fan of more eyeballs! (Thanks to the StumbleUpon guy, too - I keep forgetting to thank that guy.) We're also happy for you to email this link to others as well - a lot of people do that!
Please feel free to add a reply and share your two cents about any of the listings you see here - show off your impressive knowledge, share your opinion about something you've seen, something you're looking forward to seeing, or make your own crappy jokes which are better than mine!
We also hope that if you buy something, you come back and tell us what you thought about it! This hardly ever happens, but it's always appreciated when it does!
If you have something to say but don't want to say it publicly (or register for the board), you can also email me direct at CRZ.DVD@gmail.com!

Wow, we sure ended with a bang, didn't we? Come back Monday and we'll see what kind of late changes cropped up, as well as take a look at Amazon's Top preorders of the week!
Of course, there's nothing stopping you from replying RIGHT NOW!
When flying back and forth from Chicago to Mobile last week the in-flight magazine had a feature on the superhero folks in "Confessions of a Superhero" and the guy who plays Batman seemed like someone who might have some good stories to tell. There were a lot of "I did bad things to people" sort of vague quotes in his part of the article. I wouldn't really say the article made them interesting enough to justify purchasing the dvd, but it might have moved it into my Netflix queue.
Originally posted by CRZSydney White (Widescreen Edition) (2007) Amanda Bynes - yet ANOTHER September release I somehow missed - this one at least made some money and stuck around...but that doesn't mean I'VE heard of it!
I had taken my daughter to see Sydney White in the week or two it was in the theaters locally here, as she is a big Amanda Bynes fan. We both really enjoyed it, and I thought it had a 10 Things I Hate About You-ish feel to it. Overall, a fun movie.
This was a great episode. Funny, perfectly paced, reinvented the Daleks, gave Smith even more choice time to show his stuff, and a WWII dogfight in space.
