This was awesome! Awesome parody of The King of Kong with Randy Marsh as Steve Wiebe and Bono as Billy Mitchell. I loved Bono "helping the needy in Africa" consisting of him singing Vertigo's chorus at them. Great swerve making it so Bono was the biggest piece of crap in the world. Amazing explanation they gave for how Bono was able to accomplish so much in his life. And I'm a U2 fan.
I also loved the graphics boasting "Emmy Winning Series!" laid over Randy taking the biggest craps in the world. I wish I had a DeLorean so I could travel to the dawn of television in the 50's and show Milton Berle and Dick Van Dyke this episode from over half a century later.
I loved it. The best part was every women's disgust with the record (and act) and every guy just saying "YOu just don;t get it". This is the most basic and down to the bone reason to show how men and women are so different: I love/hate of taking a really good crap.
Fry crack corn and I don't care Leela crack corn I still don't care Bender crack corn and he is great Take that you stupid corn!
"just because you ARE a character does not mean you HAVE character.."
I won't exactly rank it as one of their best, but I do think this was good for what it was. And I do think Bono's ultimate motivation (he strives to be #1, because he's really just a #2) was pure genius.
Randy Marsh, as always, continues to rule the universe.
Taye Diggs's character is not a heel b/c he makes money. He's a heel b/c he married into money and left his ideals behind. I liked the show when I saw it 8 years ago. I repeat, 8 years ago. The movie has some serious stuff going against it, though....
