He's not my first choice to host a talk show, but I'm more of the Tom Snyder (RIP)/Charlie Rose crowd. Fallon seems to be exactly the sort NBC and Lorne Michaels would want: SNL alum, familiar face to the target demographic. Whether or not that audience goes for him is another matter.| Promote this thread! | | spf

This is such a bad idea, the only possible way this makes sense is if they float this so that bumping Carson Daly up to 1235 doesn't seem nearly as bad in comparison. | It's False

Nice to know that in 2009, I won't feel a shred of guilt about devoting ALL my time to Late Nite with Mr. Wick.

A lot of people dislike him for some reason that I've never quite understood though. Maybe because I missed a lot of his time on SNL.

And dare I say, Justin Timberlake has to be on it, too. Did I just say that?

Still, I can't believe NBC will let Leno go. I think NBC's best bet is to keep Leno and let Conan bail to another network and compete. Conan would at least split Letterman's ratings in a battle for second place and leave Leno the clear winner. |
