I've heard of the guy before, but never got the pleasure to watch him work. It's a shame somebody so young is gone. RIP.

Just so we are clear, the Quebec Beef Wellington and the Calgary Bif Wellington are not the same guy.

I had no idea Bif was just 42. It is really sad when someone dies that young.

Lance Storm's website had another tribute to Beef/Bif, and he said they were the same guy.

The name Beef Wellington was a rib by Bruce Hart, but Beef got it over, and was such a good perfomer they later changed his name to Bif.

Just for a bit of irony I suppose, the only time I saw Wellington was as a tag partner of Chris Benoit in a WCW Tag Tournament. Odd I guess.

About an hour where I live, too -- and not too long after I drove that same stretch of road. I wonder why he was in the area. Did TNA have a live event nearby?
