Problem is, the webcam icon is not where it's supposed to be- right there in "My Computer" along with Drive C, D etc. The Start Menu shortcut does nothing. I think I might have disabled the process that runs the webcam when I was trying to fight spyware one time, problem is I have no idea what process runs the webcam and I dont want to turn them all on. HALP?! Promote this thread!

That will likely restore whatever you messed up.

ICQ: # 3 Posted on 4.5.07 0028.51 | Instant Rating: 7.00 - This problem happened recently? A week or two? Run our friend SYSTEM RESTORE. Start > All Programs > Acceeries > System Tools > System Restore. Use the wizard. - If that don't work, as wmatistic said, download the HP driver. So it turns out there is more to this than the cabling, as I can't get the two power supplies (two different manufacturers as well) I purchased to even power on. Throw in the old one (which I believe is dying, hence the issue), and it powers right up.
