WWE The Music Volume 7 is on iTunes exclusively. I looked over the tracks last night and there's nothing that made me want to buy it. 21 tracks of mostly crap for $9.99. I don't want or care for Ashley's new music "Light A Fire" (which seems to be the centerpiece song), Elijah Burke, The Highlanders, Cryme Time, Snitsky, Great Khali, Michelle McCool's theme (which was originally Torrie Wilson's heel theme), Lashley's music, etc. The current themes are as lame as most of the roster. I wouldn't enjoy listening to their entrance music any more than I enjoy watching them wrestle.
However, they also have Rob Conway's "Just Look At Me", which was tempting. That might be the best bad entrance music of this decade. They also have Finlay's music, which ain't bad. And Ron Simmons' "Damn!", which is actually just the classic APA music. The best thing about the album is they have Deuce and Domino's theme "I'm All About Cool." OH!
The most glaring omission is MVP's theme "I'm Comin'!" That was the one song I thought about almost considering maybe buying but not really. They have Marcus Cor Von's theme "Smooth" and Matt Striker's "Teacher" ("Hello my students...") but not CM Punk's music or Kevin Thorn's or Sandman's music ("Dun dun dun dun dun dun duuun, Dun dun dun dun dun duuuuun")?
Track List:
"Light A Fire" - Ashley "Bringin' Da Hood T U" - Cryme Tyme "Don't Waste My Time" - Elijah Burke "Unglued" - Snitsky "Lambeg" - Finlay "Reality" - The Miz "Teacher" - Matt Striker "Muy Loco" - Super Crazy "Gorse" - The Highlanders "Not Enough For Me" - Michelle McCool "Just Look At Me" - Rob Conway "da.ngar" - The Great Khali "Gonna Punch Someone Tonight" - Jimmy Wang Yang "All for the Motherland" - Vladimir Kozlov "The End" - Armageddon PPV Theme "I'm All About Cool" - Deuce & Domino "It's Time" - Gregory Helms* "Unstoppable" - Bobby Lashley* "Obsession" - Mickie James* "Smooth" - Marcus Cor Von* "Damn" - Ron Simmons (a remix of the APA Theme with Simmons saying "Damn!")*
We're a long aways a way from the better days of Chris Warren's D-Generation X, Chris Jericho's "Break The Walls Down", Edge's "You Think You Know Me", and Undertaker's Lord of Darkness remix with the Latin chants.
I recently bought the era-spanning anthology CD set from a local shop bargain bin. And I would have paid full price just for the Shane theme, "Here Comes the Money."

Awesome. As a collector of WWE themes I'm incredibly excited to see a new WWE theme release. I've got a couple of these themes already, but I'm excited to get a bunch of them. I thought I'd have to wait until Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 to get Deuce and Domino's theme and I had given up all hope on ever getting Rob Conway's theme. Hopefully WWE will embrace iTunes and we'll get more regular theme releases.
I am, however, disappointed in the lack of Sandman's theme... =\

For anyone shopping on Itunes while the MVP theme can be bought as a single, the CM Punk theme is an album only track.
I agree that the MVP track is pretty swank. He's grown on me after the Benoit match at WM.
The one song I kind of considered buying when I saw that on ITunes yesterday was the Khali theme. It's at least a little different. I didn't notice the Finlay theme at the time, that would be up there as well, as is the Highlanders theme in case you need a double bill of music from that corner of the globe.
I was very happy to see that the original Steve Regal "Real Man's Man" theme music is there on Itunes for purchase.
Did I miss MNM's music somewhere? Please tell me they released it somewhere before firing Joey Mercury. I wouldn't mind getting Trump's entrance from WM if someone knows where to find that, too. Sounded kinda like an offshoot of Shane-O-Mac's "Here Comes the Money".

Snitsky's music has a decent horror movie vibe, for what they are trying to get over with the character. Finlay's music I liked from the start, it really didn't help get him over as a heel with me (not that there was much chance of that anyway Are they trying to suggest that Khali's entrance music is as unintelligible as his promos? If so, they should have called it "Daaaarggghhhggguhhhhhh"
Without having heard Koslov's theme, the only thing I could imagine is some ripoff of the music from Rocky IV, with Koslov saying "i LOVE... Double Double E" to kick it off.
You can't put a price on a full version of "Just Look At Me" with an extra verse about all the stars in Hollywood being falling stars compared to the Con Man. Deuce and Domino's music is the greatest composition since With My Baby Tonight. Ashley's music makes me want to FIGHT and HAVE CASUAL SEX! \m/ \m/
"Damn" is not the APA music with "Damn" inserted, though; it is a Damn techno remix of the APA music.
Ladies and gentlemen, the following public service message is brought to you by your friends from D-Generation X, who would like to remind each and every one of you that if you're not down with that, we've got two words for you... Big omission from this group: Mr. Kennedy's theme, which based on the bits of lyrics I've been able to make out when I hear it, is one SWANK entrance theme.
Incidentally, if anyone can point me to a spot where I can find said theme (and I mean the current one, not the old version with different lyrics set to the same tune he used at the start) for my own collection, I'd be grateful.
smark/net attack Advisory System Status is: Elevated (Holds; June 18, 2006) While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.

If you were wondering about crowd reactions. Fandango got heat for winning, HHH/Lesnar was the beer match and the main event handshake got a negative response. Cena did get a pop for winning, but minus Fandango, so did everyone who win.
