Hello.
According to Amazon, at the moment I post this, there are 234 different DVD releases on which you can consider dropping your hard-earned ducats - and once again I have attempted to give you a better picture of what most of those specific items actually ARE. Hover over a title to see its cover (if Amazon has it) and click away if something catches your fancy!
As always, feel free to add your two cents if you see something you know about, something you saw in the theatres or on TV when it was originally out, corrections to things I've said (X-TREMELY UNLIKELY ;-) ) or even if you just have a better one-liner than I came up with.
You are probably becoming accustomed to us beginning with a
PICK OF THE WEEK:
For Your Consideration (The W at Amazon) - Christopher Guest leads the usual suspects through another crazy scene
RUNNER-UP: Flight of Fury The latest (and greatest!) direct-to-video epic from Steven Seagal. Overheard during break in filming: "Boy, Steven's really looking paunchy." "He sure is." "Someone should tell him." "Yes, someone should." " ... " " ... " "You go tell him." "Shit, YOU go tell him." "..." "..."

Chazz Palminteri is great in anything, and Dianne Wiest is terrific, if not...aged. I'd be interested in hearing what anyone else thought of it.
I actually liked The Prestige as much, if not more, than The Illusionist, and Man of the Year was better than I thought it was going to be (thanks to Walken & Black). | Excalibur05
