You can go here ( for lame opinions, or read mine below.

I had no idea these things actually started on time, so Kim and I were probably the last fans in the building at 8:15. We missed the Briscoes vs. Irish Airborne match - Briscoes won and starting yakking about something or other.

Homicide (11'56" axe bomber -> pin) Jimmy Jacobs - I think the Briscoes came out and doubleteamed Homicide after this.

During Homicide's entrance, the circuit breaker on the rig lighting went out so the armory was enshrouded in darkness until they brought up the giant flourescent house lights. This is sure to look shitty on the DVD - also, I'm pretty sure all these folks look better when it's not in "real" lighting

Christopher Daniels (12'33" rollup -> pin) Claudio Castagnoli

Castagnoli went for the briefcase swing, Daniels ducked, Daniels rolled 'im up. No BME - attempted earlier in the match, but Daniels landed on his feet

I think the lights had been fixed by this point

Davey Richards & Colt Cabana (14'51" boston crab) Sal Rinauro & Jimmy Rave

INTERMISSION (about 20'00")

Matt Sydal (16'23" giant flippy thing off the top rope -> pin) Delirious

Someone can tell you what this move was - I'm too lazy to check

Tag champs Austin Aries & Roderick Strong (20'02" powerbomb -> pin) Samoa Joe & BJ Whitmer

You read right - Joe was pinned. Joe was powerbombed!

World champ Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuinness

Fall 1: Danielson (25'29" rollup -> pin)
Fall 2: McGuinness (38'53" keylock?)
Fall 3: DRAW (60'00")

McGuinness was unloading with elbows for the last 15 seconds and may have landed one too many to the brain, because Danielson spent a looooooooooooooong time on the mat before getting up and giving a nice speech - then presenting the (presumably retired) Pure title to McGuinness

Crowd were total douchebags in love with themselves, but what do you expect. At least it got Danielson's headlock over. I guess.

Card was definitely worth the $11.25 I paid for it. I'd probably spring the, what, $20 for front row next time?

They're not back until April, 2007, so I can forget about it between now and then.

I'm told Wade was there, so expect this to take up three pages in your next Torch.
