So naturally, SNL will run the gimmick into the ground. Hopefully Samberg and the other new guys (including Bill Hader, awesome impressionist) can rise above the mediocrity.
Cute, but doesn't replace the New Kids sketch with Chris Rock as Arsenio ("Yesss, New Kids, Yesssss, On the Yesss, Block")
"I'm walkin, I'm talkin, Macaulay Culkin, Rog-ah Clemens got called for balkin' WORD!"
(Sung), "Girl...you are..wicked awesome"
I was quite amused by the movie theater trivia bit in this one. I'm the guy who will get there early and memorize the answers so by the time it loops around again I can scream out the answers and appear "wicked smaht" to those just arriving in the theater.
iTunes is offering the "Lazy Sunday" video as a free download for the holidays. Unfortunately, downloading it for me meant watching about it 15 times in the last two days (my relatives don't have cable).
SNL has been on a great run, and the featured players have been a big reason why. Bill Hader is going to be the next big SNL star, remember where you heard it first kids.
The sketches of the year have the Narnia rap and the AWESOME Vincent Price Thanksgiving Special, with a shockingly good Eva Longoria performance and the amazing Kristen Wiig (Dr. Pat from the 1st Joe Schmo) as a delusional Judy Garland.
This sketch was awesome, and I have the worst jones for Mr. Pibb + Red Vines (word is they are crazy delicious)
