Should I be offended that you don't want people from The W voting? I think if I cared more, I might be.
I'll bet you were sick of people voting for "Kurt" or "Eric" in the Best/Worst Angle categories is all.

edit:
"The TNA audience is amazing. They almost count as a
color commentator unto themselves. They boost match quality with their
innovative chants and through-the-roof face pops."

More like they distract from the match quality with their "look at how smart we are" chants.

Once again, I stuff my ballot full of love for the Big Show, and I appear to be the only one who gives him any votes in ... well, anything.

I'm *very* disappointed in everyone who cast a ballot at Big Kev for Worst Worker, ESPECIALLY on the heels of the fact his match at Against All Odds with Jarrett was one of his best performances in years, and easily surpassed the *** mark. There's not anyone who could possibly believe that any of my three selections (Hogan, Savage, Vader) could put on a better match in that spot.

I don't get the Kevin Nash hate continuing year in and year out. This isn't 1999 anymore where he's sitting with the book. Hell, as far as I'm concerned, he's even surpassed Scott Hall as a worker at this point. If you voted for him, please give me a good reason why.

Here I thought Sasaki/Kobashi was a lock to take best match or at least for Kawada/Kojima to place in the top 3. Geez, quality major league stuff was scarce this year.I suppose to find good material the indies was where to go.

Given how few options there are nowadays, I wonder if there has been any consideration to combining announcer and color commentator into one category. When the 2nd and 3rd highest scorers for best color are the 1st and 2nd for worst color, that's a little pointless. Plus which one is Coachman? He got votes in all 4 categories.

In the real world, WWE believes that no matter what our race, religious creed or ethnic background in America, we all share the common bond of being Americans. American-Arabs are a part of the fabric of America, and they should be embraced by all of us.

Coach is/was the play-by-play for Heat, and does color for Raw.

This will get added at the end of each post you make, below an horizontal line. This should preferably be kept to a small enough size.

I'm sorry, but these awards took a huuuuge credibility blow with frickin' TNA Impact taking Best TV Show. On its worst day, Velocity is a better produced, better flowing, more compelling show than Impact.

Then you're clearly not watching the same Impact the rest of us are.

I think it's the sake that Impact is offering fans something DIFFERENT, which the WWE hasn't done since 2000. You get your jobber squashes (Monty Brown destroys Quartermaine and Lovett), you get your wild brawls (Sabu and Abyss fight with THUMBTACKS), you get your Cruiserweight action (Petey Williams sings O Canada on Matt Bentley's groin), mixed with your top stars mingling (AJ Styles and Samoa Joe have CONFLICT!)...

However, I'd bet dollars to donuts that a lot of the voters weren't so much casting a vote for Impact, as much as a vote against the WWE and a vote for change.

I take no issues with Impact winning best TV show, and I hope they CONTINUE to improve, if for no other reason than to start forcing Vince to make changes. (And NOT "reset button" quality changes)

Here's the thing about TNA vs. WWE. I think the WWE is still the stronger company with the best produced shows and most of the top talent. I think most people would agree with me. But, WWE is and has been on a downward trend. We get a good show every now and then, but I mean, you've got crap like the Bogeyman and Chris Masters and whatever else, and people are just fed up with it. TNA, on the other hand, is improving, and pretty rapidly too. I never really saw their show until they got the Spike slot, and even then I didn't really catch too many episodes until they signed Christian. I've still seen a bunch of progress just in the short time I've been watching. Are they really better than the WWE right now? I don't think so, but they are getting better all the time, and they're the only company that looks like they're trying. A vote for TNA, apparently, is a vote for progress.

Notably, since Christian has come on board, they have stopped using the canned audience cheering in the background during promos. I don't know if he suggested the change or not, but I did notice the timeframe and it could be related.

I always thought the cheer track made it sound bush league, and I'm glad it's gone.

If you are listening in 5.1 surround it was really apparent when the track was on.

Let's face it: WWE has more money, more experience, better production, and more and theoretically "better" wrestlers. Or at least, their wrestlers are better paid.

That said, a LOT of RAWs have seemed formulaic and phoned-in, while pretty much every Impact I've watch on Spike has been good with a few flaws. They seem to be putting more effort into everything than the WWE is.

X-E's co-Worst Poster of all time! JKyle.com says:

I agree with cfgb... almost all the way.

Big Show is super underrated as a worker, he had the best matches of his career on SmackDown before being traded. His matches with Edge were hella fun before they stuck him with Kane.

Nash, like Steiner, has gone from King to Begger in most fans' eyes. Nash, unlike Steiner, has picked up the ball he dropped (decent matches/HILARIOUS commentary on Impact) but no one has noticed.

HOWEVER, Impact has not beat Velocity since Goldilocks was still around... and then it could be argued it was better than either Raw OR SD (sometimes both). Sure it's picked up since kicking Dusty to the curb, moving to Spike, and a little more (but not enough) since Mr. Cage dropped in.

The good news is that whereas Impact can no longer cleanly beat Velocity all the time, SD's magical powers and Raw's McMahonomania have made both show equal to or worse than Impact.

If you read my comic you'll be like the tenth person (after SOK and Tricia) to do so in three years,

Man, Chris Masters belongs nowhere near that Worst Worker slot. I mean, I know he's no great shakes, but he can sell better than any of the other candidates, he's got a rudimentary moveset that he executes well and he doesn't get gassed THAT easily. Snitsky, sure, but Masters, no way.

Although I feel a few of the results have been influenced by Eddie's death, there's not really a whole lot to disagree with. Seems it's just been a predictable year for all awards since most of them I've seen around have mostly the same results.

Just looking through the "previous winners" though, and how the hell did Hogan win Worst Heel in 1996??

The TNA audience is amazing. They almost count as a
color commentator unto themselves. They boost match quality with their innovative chants and through-the-roof face pops.

Crikey, here I was believing the old stereotype of American's not understanding sarcasm.

My personal headscratcher is Stephanie winning Most Annoying. No, I'm not a fan of hers, but she's been on TV how many times over the last year?

Taking nothing away from Wrestlemania 21, which was a solid if ultimately unspectacular Wrestlemania, I can't believe One Night Stand didn't win Major Show of the Year. I'd have thought that was the biggest lock of the bunch.

Maybe Impact is not a better show than Raw or Smackdown (though i do enjoy it more), but TNA won best tag team and best finisher for the second year in a row. AJ won high flyer from Mysterio, and Joe tied Batista for best brawler. With the exception of Petey's finisher, I don't think you can argue with those. AJ, Joe, and Daniels are all catching up in the best worker/favorite wrestlers category too. So TNA is definitely catching up.

I think the Big Show has had a good year also. I think you could actually vote as "Most Underrated" if the most underrated category actually MEANT most underrated and not most underpushed.

The results kind of left me shrugging my shoulders.

If the majority of the voters watch only WWE and TNA (with a little ROH for those with exotic tastes), the awards will skew that way. Like any election, only the participants can determine the outcome. That's just the way it is.

The Match of the Year category was the one which made this blatantly obvious. If you only watch WWE/TNA/ROH, the list is pretty good. But of the top ten (with the exception of Angle/HBK at Mania and Joe vs Kobashi in ROH), there were at least ten matches from Japan or Mexico that were vastly superior.

These awards used to have people voting who watched not only WWF & WCW, but ECW, the US Indy's, Lucha and Japan (Joshi, too). The results reflected that and made them a very interesting read.

But as with any election, the voters have spoken.
