Seems that Lindsay was the one who came up with the idea of posing naked, after she saw Paris Hilton's recent Vanity Fair cover where she's topless and covering her breasts with her arms.
A source says: "It was Paris Hilton's recent Vanity Fair cover, where she's topless and covering her breasts with her arms, that inspired Lindsay to push the envelope even further."

Virtually all of the links do that repetitious thing Jaguar pointed out. The kicker for me was the Lindsay Lohan Refused To Date 50 Cent article. It's been seen on some other sites since June and is attributed to a New York Post story. The article includes the following quote:
Lindsay told America's New York Post newspaper that P. Diddy and Damon Dash also asked her out on date. "Black guys love me Damon Dash, P Diddy I don't know why".
Yowza. Maybe she did say that, but I feel like I would have seen that quote repeated all over the place.
