Harvey the Hound may be the first mascot in the NHL, but he didn't join when the Flames moved to Calgary. I only know this because in the 2003-4 season, I went to a game which proclaimed it was Harvey the Hound's 20th birthday. The 16th of February, 1984 was the debut of Harvey. Why this knowledge remains in my head is a mystery to me.
Cajun, are you familar with Marty Turco? He's a fairly young goalie, only 26 years old. Right now, he's got 8-3-0 record, has a 2.06 GAA, and Save% of 0.923. That's better than Belfour as it is, and he looks to be Dallas' Netminder of the Future.
