| #1 Posted on 20.4.02 2047.13 | Here I is, drinking a li'l chinese brandy from a Hulkamania glass from 1988 or so, and I was thinking... what kind of cheezy wrestling swag everyone else got.
This Hulkamania glass is the only piece I have in me house. The front has a picture of a balding hogan doing the "I'm gripping an invisilbe watermelon" pose, with HULKAMANIA written from the bottom up towards his head. back reads:
Hulk Hogan
Admired byt adults and children, at 6'8", 303 lbs, "The Real American Hulkster" is unquestionably the most popular wrestler of the 80's.
then it's repeated in french. And of course has all the copyright and trademark notices. It's a happy little glass, and for some reason I think that it originally had a red lid and contained peanut butter, but I'm probly wrong.| Promote this thread! | | Guru Zim

| #5 Posted on 21.4.02 0006.36 | A good friend of mine has a WWF artist set, where you put templates of various wrestlers in the set and trace the pattern onto paper, which you can then color in. It looks like it's from around 1990-1992
Last I've seen of it, her younger brother traced Sargeant Slaughter and gave him a pink thong

Not bad.
Back on topic: I buy piles of wrestling magazines, including old issues, but I have no cheezy wrestling swag. I was tempted on EBay by a seven-foot vinyl Undertaker banner meant to hang on the back of a door, but I didn't bid. I think my husband would draw the line at having to look at that while in bed. ;-)

| #15 Posted on 23.4.02 0644.41 | I have a small Hacksaw Jim Duggan glass that used to be a peanut butter container (Schwarz peanut butter, I think.) It's currently in the regular drinking glass rotation at my parent's house in Nova Scotia...Dad thinks it's hilarious.
Q: If you could have interviewed Marvin Gaye, where would you have proposed to meet and what would you have asked him?
A: I would have met anywhere as long as it was before his father shot him. I would have asked him, "Hey, don't you think there's some chance that your father might shoot you? To death, I mean?"

| #16 Posted on 23.4.02 0845.42 | I have a cardboard countertop stand-up display promotional piece thingy for WrestleMania: The Album from 1993. It features (clockwise from top left) Undertaker, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, the Nasty Boys (Saggs, Knobbs), Tatanka, Bret Hart, Randy Savage, and Big Bossman. It's on display in my office
I also have some WCW trading cards somewhere around my office. Ric Flair, Steiner Bros., Southern Boys, Tom Zenk, and Terry Taylor. I think they're from 1991.
Up until recently I had a Hacksaw Jim Duggan foam 2x4 that I got at a house show in '87 or '88, but I think it got tossed.

| #17 Posted on 23.4.02 0913.03 | My brother has a huge tapestry of the Rock that's so tacky that it makes Dogs Playing Poker look like classy art. I insist he take it off his wall when we have company.
But, the cheesiest stuff ever were the WWF Ice Cream bars. They were good, cookie, icecream, covered in chocolate, all on a stick, but something was awry. They still can be bought to this day, but every wrestler on them is from around 1990 to 1993, and who really wants to eat something that may have been made a decade ago, let alone has Ric Martel on it?
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME..if the ASPCA knows about these Government Mules that JR refers to. Apparently, these poor animals are subjected to awful beatings that are akin to being thrown into steel steps or having their heads smashed against wooden announce tables.br> Michaelangelo | CRZ

Oh man, I have an entire set of 1991 cards EXCEPT ONE - we need to work some trades, I think.
I also have a complete set of 1991 WWF cards I got on Ebay last year - I keep meaning to scan them for the images site but never get around to it. (When would I EVER have time to make 150 new graphics?)

Well, I found them, and the only ones I have are listed up there. I'll trade any of them, except maybe Flair. The quote on the back is:
"All Ric Flair can do is laugh as Lex Luger tries to escape from his vise-like 'Figure-Four Leglock' hold."
What's funny is on the front, Luger has Flair in the Figure-Four, and Flair is howling in pain.
