So yeah, a spoiler, but nothing to blow anyone away.

Not really. Better to have JBL and Cena do a big stupid brawl than a pure wrestling match -- we saw earlier this month what happened when they tried that.

If he starts using...hell, I dunno, a Boston crab or something as his finisher, then that's worlds better than the crappy FU.
So there I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopkeeper and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really, but sure enough I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show.--- Del Preston

Yeah we did. They had the beginnnings of a pretty good match and were the time where they to start hitting big spots was coming around when they were told to 'go home now' so they finished it as quickly as possible.

Not necessarily. I feel like I've seen I Quit matches where the loser was just physically beaten to the point where he couldn't go on. | StingArmy

That sounds more like a WWE Last Man Standing match.

Don't forget, nobody was really happy with the prospect of a bullrope match at the Great American Bash last year, and that turned out alright. Granted, there's just a hair of difference Eddie and Cena, but this stipulation basically means that the gloves are off and they can do anything. JBL is a solid brawler, and in that environment it's easier for a more limited guy (Cena) to put together something good.

| #14 Posted on 20.4.05 2038.59 | Instant Rating: 6.66 | If book this match as a huge brawl then it could be good. However, they use the 'I quit' stipulations as an excuse for them to use a bunch of holds then it could be quite bad. I guess we'll wait and see. But their WrestleMania match didn't exactly get me excited to see the rematch.
The answer to WWE's financial problems...
Never 'Wiener of the Day', and is actually quite bitter about it. |
