This series is one of my guilty pleasures, and I think I'll tune in to at least a few more episodes.
Chyna Doll seems as messed up as ever, and the whole Verne stuff just seems sad. I know they edit it to make everything seem dramatic, compelling, etc. but didn't Stern fans already see what happens to an angry drunken dwarf? (RIP Hank)
The series is what it is, I'm not expecting anything new, faces have changed.
Adrienne Curry is flat out hot, even if she's nuts, and I want to see more of Janie. I would've loved to be a cameraman for the skinny dipping!
I can't believe Da Brat was complaining that THIS SHOW is filled with has been, B list stars.
Male model Mark had what, 2 lines? Peter Brady is put together much better than he is.
As much as I tried to change the channel I couldn't!
Chyna Doll is this year's stand-out lush. On the first day you see that she has packed multiple bottles of vodka, like the show would not of supplied her booze.
Peter Brady gets to be with the hot model (preview of the season) where is the justice in that? Well maybe he deserves it since he probally was the one that had to date Jan Brady.
Mini-Me, oh man. An angry drunken dwarf, oh yea that has been said. Verne was great in his if I do not get my way I am going home thing. Then for an encore he practically drools on the hot model (no idea who she is where she is from)than he passes out, wakes up, naked and pees in the living room.
Th Go-Go and "Mr. I date stars" have not done much yet, but the show is still new, and who tops a drunken wrestling porn star and an angry drunken dwarf.
All this and Da Brat, she may be the only one that dosen't realize it's twenty past the hour, and fame passed her by five minutes ago.
PAM ANDERSON on being named E!'s best blonde: "The carpet don't match the drapes!" "... Just kidding, there is no carpet."
You wanted the best, you got... Out of Context Quote of the Week.
"Jeez, some people seem to think anything short of Vince bending over and spreading his asscheeks is a slap in the face." (Hogan's My Dad)
The only problem with this season, as far as I can see, is that they've set the standards WAAAAAY too high with this first ep.
TTP (like you'll see this, though): She won the first season of America's Next Top Model.
Verne looked seriously Buddha-esque pissing in the corner (loved the whole helping himself during dinner... and getting himself some sushi too), and Chyna being completely oblivious before she started drinking (not thinking about why the closets, etc. were so small)... But we all know the big news:
Peter Brady's more jacked than Marcus Schenkenberg? Who knew?
Last dinner: When DA BRAT calls you washed-up... YEEEEEOUCH.
"Jiminy fucking Crickets, someone needs to write a Gordon Lightfoot-esque song- "The Ballad Of What The Fuck Just Flew Out Of Dean's Ass"."
The topic of discussion in my household is whether Chyna Doll is a man or a woman. I totally understand what Cerebus was saying in his reply.
I too did watch the premiere of the Surreal Life. I thought it was fairly good compared to past Surreal Lifes. I did find the part where Verne was drunk and naked disgusting and odd. Peter Brady does seem like the only normal person in the house. Although he is normal, I think it will be interesting to see if he "holds the house togther".
I liked the nod to Superman II as well, the phantom zone was interesting as well. Jimmy Olson was a little disconcerting as the actor's twin brother, Shawn Ashmore, has appeared in Smallville twice as a villain.
