Edge was signing his new book at Waldenbooks near me, so my wife and some friends decided to go down. We got there four hours early which was a good thing since at the end the line stretched to half the mall. My wife bought the book which he signed to her and he was cool enough to sign one of my Raw Deal Edge cards. We talked about a litttle bit while he was signing. I told him good luck on getting the belt from HHH on Monday. He said, I don't think HHH was going to be in it, someone told him he was in the battle royal on Monday for the title. Edge said he thought someone screwed up on that. So, I don't know if Edge is not going to be in the battle royal or if Randy is going to strip HHH of the title before hand and let the roster fight over it. Either way, it seemed weird to me.

House Show report from Bethlam, Pa.

Place was filled for the most part and the crowd was really into it. So, it made probably a good show into a great show. '

Shelton d. Christian. Before the match Christian and Tomko were hugging and Shelton got on the mic and said, they could toss each other's salads after the match. That got a nice pop. Great match had some stalling to begin, but soon got going quick. Shelton won after reversing the unprettier, superkicking Tomko off the ropes and hitting the T-Bone on Christian for the pinfall.

The Arab Guy d. Rhyno. Arab dude is a heat sucker and it was a pretty by the numbers match. Rhyno lost to a STO by the Arab dude, but that was his only really cool move.

Simon d. Rosey. Simon came out to do his bit and then challenged Rosey. Simon won on a low blow for a pinfall kinda lame.

Eugene/Regal d. La Resistance. The fun match of the night. Eugene and Regal are huge over right now. Regal pinned Conway while Eugene stunnered Sylvan. Fans were into everyone of Eugene's signature moves.

Chris Masters (The Masterpiece) d. Tajiri. I don't know who this Chris Masters is, but bland should be his name. He won by reversing the octopus.

Lita d. Molly. Lita is hella over as the place went nuts for her. She was getting the kinda chants I expect from Rock or Austin. Both women had a good match with Lita winning on with her spike DDT.

Stacy came out with the T-shirt gun. Coach came out to interrupt plugging the battle royal for Raw. He told Stacy to shut-up and made some comments that I thougth would lead to a Rock apperance since he grew up in the area and still has family there, but no dice. Stacy shots him in the nuts with the gun, then intermission.

Edge d. Benoit. The workrate match of the night. Edge was getting some pops, the wife thinks that maybe due to the book signing since we saw most of the people from the signing at the event. Edge won via chair. Really good match and my friend thinks it will probably be what they do at the New Year's PPV.

Snitsky d. Val Venis. Pretty boring match with Gene winning with a pumphandle slam. I gotta say they fired Test, but gave his moveset to Gene, because its damn near identicial. Val looked hurt after the match, but I don't know if that was selling or not.

Evolution vs. Jericho/Orton/Maven. I am happy to finally see Ric Flair wrestler, but sadden to see so much of his ass. They had a spot where the faces pulled down all of Evolution's shorts to expose their asses and they wrestled like that for at least a good five minutes. By the way, HHH wears thongs, something never of us wanted to know. Good match with Jericho playing face in trouble for most of the match. Orton wins by reversing the Pedigree into the RKO. As much as I personally hate HHH/Orton's fued, I cannot deny the pops each one got. The fans are eating this fued up.

On a sidenote, there was four people looking from the sound guy's table. It was hard to see in the dark, but we did make out one of them was a woman who looked like Steph. My friend commented how ominious it appeared.

Don't quote me on that, but there's always the possibily that he was BS'ing you. Local fans have asked me booking related stuff before and I just threw any answer I could. Any wise wrestler won't reveal booking to fans.

I thought the same thing to, but I was just wishing him good luck. I expected the response to be "thanks" or "I'll do what I can". I didn't expect him to be like, I don't know what you are talking about. That seems stupid to me not to know if you are going to get a shot at the title or not if those its been advertised for a week.

As much as I want to see old Trips lose the Title, I want to see him lose in a legit match not some Battle Royal.
