Catch The Thrill on "Pick of the Week": taped Tuesdays at Planet Magic in Denmark, WI; on the air Sundays @ 1 am on WB-14!
2 old-school Survivor Series matches...very good.
Stacy Kiebler: easy on the eyes, except when she actually tries to, y'know, wrestle. Oof.
And since I don't watch SmackDown! much...why is Chavo, who was heel the last time I checked, getting a US title match on PPV, against a guy with Greg Brady hair and the Moons of Meepzor from Coneheads as a logo? Is Cena hurt that badly? Hell, Carlito still wears the stolen MasterLock chain pendant as a trophy to generate heat...do we want him feuding w/ somebody else?
And WWE wonders why I only watch PPVs at no-cover bars anymore (well, except for 'Mania...such a sheep am I...)
Star wipe, and...we're out. Thrillin' ain't easy.

I'm curious as to how Rico and Mick Foley fit into your plans for the elimination style matches. Mick Foley hasn't been seen or heard from since he lost to Randy Orton. He has no beef with anybody on the heel side, so why would be be in that match? Replace Mick Foley with Tajiri as he's Rhyno's tag team partner. And Eric Bischoff in the match? I sort of see what you're going for there, but I don't see Bischoff wrestling here. Replace him with Coach.
And Rico in the SD elimination match? That also doesn't make much sense as he has nothing to do with anybody on the heel side. Replace Rico with Chavo Guerrero, who is siding with his Uncle Eddie to help him battle Kurt Angle and his minions. The Chavo/CCC feud isn't going to happen right away. They're building to Cena coming back to challenge him and his return should be at Survivor Series making it a CCC vs. Cena match.
Stacy was just defeated by Trish on Raw, so I think she's out of the title picture. Unless she wins the title in the Diva Battle Royal at Taboo Tuesday. If that's the case, she's not going to defend it against Molly, it'll be a rematch with Stacy and Trish. If Stacy doesn't win the battle royal and some other Diva does, it'll be a rematch between that diva and Trish. If Trish keeps the title at Taboo Tuesday, there'll be another gimmick match with all the divas. Possibly a 6-Woman Elimination Match with Trish/Molly/Kim vs. Stacy/Nidia/Victoria.
So Chavo is supposed to feud with Carlito at some point, is that the new rumor? What about Rey, didn't HE just win a number one contender's match? Is he just taking up time until they bring back Cena or what? I was looking forward to Mysterio getting a title run win something other than the cruiser title. Oh well, Chavo works too.

Rey got his shot the same night that he won the #1 contender's match ... but I'm with you, he deserves a chance to wear the US strap.
Let's see...Survivor Series usually leds into Mania.
Carlito vs. John Cena Undertaker vs. Heidenreich Rey Mysterio, Rob Van Dam, Paul London & Chavo Guerrero vs. Billy Kidman, Kenzo Suzuki, Rene Dupree & Spike Dudley JBL, Kurt Angle, Luther Reigns & Mark Jindrak vs. Eddie Guerrero, Big Show, Hardcore Holly & Booker T
RAW SIDE: HHH vs. HBK vs. Chris Benoit vs. Batista (or Chris Jericho) vs. Randy Orton vs. Edge La Resistance vs. Rhyno & Tajiri Trish Stratus vs. Stacy Keibler Matt Hardy V1 vs. Kane (or Kane vs. Snitsky, Round 2) Some IC Title Match
"It looks like they are building a very good card for this year's Survivor Series"
I ... don't believe you. However, I think you're thinking in the right direction with Elimination Chamber since we're due for one. *Except*, if they want to keep Orton and Hunter apart so Orton has to wait for his title shot, you can't really put him in there unless you creatively book it to have him in the match but still kept away from HHH and screwed yet again.
So OTOH, the Evolution In An Elimination Tag Match posts also make sense since you can do Orton and HHH on opposing sides and not have the title at stake. Which means Edge would have to complete his switcheroo with Orton and take his spot in Evolution, which would kind of annoy me because it once again dashes the boneriffic Edge & Christian reunion, which would be a lot cooler.
Doing a Survivors match with (the original) Evolution where they fall apart was enough of a reason for why they should've held off on the Orton/HHH split until the end of the year. And with HHH living out his fantasy of being Ric Flair leading the Horsemen, then this year's Survivor Series was, like, the best and only chance for everyone who's been asking for a Wargames ever since SurvSer 2001 to actually get one.
"WWE Championship: John "Bradshaw" Layfield vs. Booker T"
So weird for them to book Booker like crap for so long, beat him on every PPV, and then put him right into the title program. So I wonder if their feud will only lead to a match on TV which gets to a multi-person title match for the PPV? First-Ever Smackdown Elimination Chamber would be pretty neat. (Layfield/Kurt/Show/Eddie/Booker/Van Dam, transition the belt to Angle, with no Cena and Undertaker already out of the picture so no one would have to beat him?) Oooooor Layfield & Team Angle vs. Pick Your Four Babyfaces as the JBL title reign keeps going and going and going.
Kind of hard to predict the Survivor Series card already since RAW is just wrapping up it's Taboo Tuesday booking and SmackDown is in between angles for a lot of guys. Still, I'll give it a shot. YAY~!
Classic Surivor Series Elimination Match Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Chris Benoit, & Chris Jericho v. Triple H, Ric Flair, Batista, & Edge (newly turned heel (I had trouble thinking of a fourth heel, so I turned Edge heel and put Jericho on the face's team (It's the best I can do (sorry)))
First Blood Match Kane v. Gene Snitsky (maybe Matt Hardy returns, turns heel, and mentions that he hired Snitsky to kill Lita's baby?)
Fatal Fourway for the Tag Titles La Resistance v. Tajiri & Rhyno v. William Regal & Eugene v. Christian & Tyson Tomko
WWE Title Match John Bradshaw Layfield v. Booker T
Undertaker v. Jon Heidenreich (probably w/ whacky stipulations)
Classic Survivor Series Elimination Match Kurt Angle, Mark Jindrak, Luther Reigns, & Carlito Colon v. Eddie Guerrero, John Cena, Big Show, & Hardcore Holly (couldn't think of anyone else... unfortunatley)
WWE Tag Title Match Kenzo Suzuki & Rene Dupree v. Rey Mysterio & Rob Van Dam (possibly a 3-way w/ the Dudleyz or a 4-way w/ the dudleyz and Rico/Haas)
That's seven matches. With the Elimination matches taking up some time, seven is probably a good amount. No Cruiserweight title, though. Maybe Chavo Guerrero v. Billy Kidman can headline Heat?

The answer to WWE's financial problems...
Never 'Wiener of the Day', and is actually quite bitter about it.
Turned out to be a great night of wrestling at Six Flags tonight. I'm sure livedog can back me up on any details that I'm forgetting here, but here's the card and what went down: Benoit did a signing at 7:15.
