Oh well, so much for getting my hopes up ...

Never a big fan of the group, so no skin off my nose, but hopefully they can work things out when the cameras aren't on. The drummer and bassist seemed like nice enough guys, and I'm glad they seem to be happy in what they do now.

I once tolerated an hour long conversation with old man Bettencourt abut his prostate, all I was trying to do was price guitars. And his son has the audacity to refuse to appear on camera?
For shame, Nuno. For shame.

I've heard a lot of stories about his ego, though, so maybe that had something to do with it.

As a guitarist, yes I agree with you. As far as his ego, I know a couple of guys who were in bands in the whole Boston rock/metal scene during the late 80's when Extreme was starting to get big. Even then, according to them, he had an ego then as well. It doesn't surprise me in the least he derailed the reunion and wouldn't appear on camera.
For those looking forward to a Squeeze reunion; like the Extreme show, that one is a half-hour as well.
EDIT: Looks like the Extreme song "Kid Ego", which was written about an old Extreme band member who left before they made their 1st album, can now be used to describe Nuno too.

2ND EDIT: For those interested, Nuno's new band has their own website with a message board section that has a thread on the Bands Reunited show; including an explenation in the thread from Nuno's manager on why he didn't choose to appear on camera.

Personally, I would have enjoyed VH-1 mentioning Nuno's involvement in Population 1...
...and having a co-write on the new TANTRIC single, "HEY NOW," currently climbing the charts at rock radio.
Which makes sense, as Tantric frontman Hugo Ferreira is also from my crap home town, where it seems that he was the guy that bully types would humiliate on the way to the higher class of dweebs. My friends, for instance.
