Bending over and showing your ass every week is ok, but posing nude in a well respected men's magazine is bad? I don't get it.

I've got to agree with this sentiment 110%. It seems as if the Playboy pictorials for Torrie Wilson, Sable and Chyna marked the apex of whatever careers they've had and that's that. Miss Laurer's career seems to have gone pear-shaped, and Sable tucked her tail in between her legs, signed with WWE, and the first thing she did was get into an angle that she swore she wouldn't do prior to her 1999 departure.
And I'm sorry, but Torrie Wilson just seems to be less appealing week after week. No pun intended, but throughout the course of her WWE tenure she's been totally overexposed. The ridiculous angles she's been involved in (Dawn Marie, Al Wilson, Sable, for instance) and her inverse-charisma have done it for me. Like any other guy, I'd like to see Stacy Kiebler sans clothing, but hey, right on for her decision.
I think there may be merit to the choice Stacy Kiebler's made. Plus, if she ever does opt to do a Playboy pictorial, perhaps it'll be at a point where Stacy doesn't actually NEED to do one, kinda' like how other celebrities can do pictorials in Playboy and not have that as their sole career highlight.
Kudos to Stacy Kiebler for refusing!

In outside interviews Torrie did say that she wouldn't do Playboy. The Stacy deal is different because supposedly Playboy came to Miss Keibler. It has to be either a low-ball money figure, or Stacy over-estimates her worth to WWE and to celebrity-hood.
I agree with RKMtwin though, as a Playboy shoot does seem to signal the peak of the WWE's women. Once you have nothing new to show horndogs with regards to skin, then that segment will probably tune out and stop caring. People on here have proclaimed as much with regards to Torrie.
(I just hope that Trish doesn't bow to Stacy's peer pressure :-)

The thing is, if Stacy does Playboy and her career does spiral, what happens next? They bring in a hotter, younger, maybe better worker(?) to replacer her with and cycle starts again.
