Dear Friends kind regards I am a new member on here and I would like to thank everyone for looking at this post. I was wondering if anyone had any news about WWF footage being re-released at Silver Vision. Silver Vision deleted all of the old WWF Videos but two old WWF Videos have been released on WWE DVD. They are.........Cause Stone cold says so and Undertaker he buries them alive. The WWF had some great videos eg Supertape, Grudges gripes and grunts etc plus all of the PPV's. My question is this. 1.Is Silver Vision going to re-release ALL of the old WWF Videos on WWE DVD's?.........if this is true then it'll be fantastic and they'll make a bomb financially. If you have any information, news or views I'd appreciate it. yours thankfully John
I don't think that WWE is going to be converting the old Colisieum videos to DVD, but it's obvious they intend to release several compilation DVD's in the future, as it seems that the current releases are already finding success (Rey Mysterio, Cage Matches, etc). As for older WWF videos that are no longer distributed, I reccomend the marketplace sellers on Amazon.com for the harder to find DVD's such as Mick Foley: Hard Knocks and Cheap Pops. Good luck!
Dear Friends kind regards I think that Silver Vision realise that ALL of the old WWF Videos were popular. Thats why I believe they are putting them on WWE DVD's to make money.........as they will naturally. The WWF Videos were still hugely popular before Silver Vision had to cancel them. Heres the situation as it is......... 1.Silver Vision had to delete all of the WWF videos-meaning they have suffered financially. 2.They still have the old WWF footage in storage and realise its financial potential-the priority is to convert them to DVD with WWE packaging.........DVD is the future. 3.EVERYONE that I ask is waiting for this to happen.........I believe that democracy will prevail. yours thankfully John
1. I don't think that people are losing sleep over the fact the Gripes, Grudges And Grunts has not been released on DVD. 2. They'll probably do a huge load of DVD compilations in the future but not necessarily SuperTape 89 or The Revenge Of The Body Slammers or Bloopers, Blunders And Bodyslams so, tough shit. 3. Your posts are funny....DEMOCRACY WILL PREVAIL!!!
Dear Dave kind regards Your tone sounds rather arrogant and fascist. 1.The vast majority of people that I speak too both online and offline state that they want the WWE to release ALL of the old WWF videos on WWE DVD's. 2.People prefer shows and not compilations.........conduct a poll to all Wrestling fans to dispute this fact. 3.With respect Sir my posts are not funny they are based on realism.........Democracy should indeed prevail and if we go by it the World will be a better place. The WWE will do well to use demoracy to its fullest potential by re-releasing ALL of the old WWF footage on WWE DVD to make a financial killing. YOU are the funny one Sir. yours thankfully John
Dear InVerse kind regards I am not confusing democracy and capitalism. capitalism is a system that the WWE benefits from-true or false? The WWE is interested in financial prosperity-true or false? The WWE can make more CAPITAL by being democratic and catering to Wrestling fans by re-releasing all of the old WWF videos onto WWE DVD.........True or false? Sir.........I think you FAIL to understand democracy and capitalism. Proper Democracy actually paves the way for more Capital. yours thankfully John
I have to disagree with a few things you have posted:
"2.People prefer shows and not compilations........conduct a poll to all Wrestling fans to dispute this fact."
I don't think it's a fact. Myself and the wrestling fans I know rather like compilations rather than shows.
"1.Silver Vision had to delete all of the WWF videos-meaning they have suffered financially. 2.They still have the old WWF footage in storage and realise its financial potential-the priority is to convert them to DVD with WWE packaging.........DVD is the future."
I don't know maybe I'm reading this wrong but did you just say Silver Vision had to delete all the WWF videos then say they still have them in storage?
"1.The vast majority of people that I speak too both online and offline state that they want the WWE to release ALL of the old WWF videos on WWE DVD's."
I'm sorry but even if Silver Vision does rerelease any old WWF/E video on DVD I am sure they will not release ALL of them.

Thanks a lot for the links, Now I've got my Christmas shopping done early this year!
Just remember Moralman, why should the WWE should spend the time and money needed to release DVDs that probably wouldn't sell enough to make up for their initial loss (or would be a big risk at best). Especially when they've got about 57 other MUCH larger money losers to worry about right now?

Dear Friends kind regards I am quite disgusted about the attitude of people in here. You are simply PERCEIVING the situation of WWE Silver vision.........You state that such videos like WWF Wrestlefest 91, WWF Supertape IV and WWF UK Ramapage on DVD will not do huge business? Listen folks.........I have spoken to LOTS of people both online and offline-They have stated that they want ALL of the WWF AND WCW old videos to be released on DVD. Now you can simply dispute this FACT with your own brand of simplistic pondering. If a petition was started then you'd see that lots of people would support it. If the old footage was released then people would buy the footage simply because fans remember the old guard in wrestling. You are enemies of democracy and freedom-I praise the WWE for being democratic as I know that they can be. yours thankfully John
John, nobody cares but you. Please get over it and move on, or face my wrath. (This also applies to all other AOL Europe users that have sprung up over the past week)
Cool the jets CRZ by no means am I defending, ducking incase CRZ desides to obliterate him, this guy but other than being bit of bother. I don't believe he "deserves" the ole god of wrath as of yet. Anyways, I'd personally enjoy getting older videos on DVD but if a company over here did it I'd be more than interested.
*EDIT* That is if they could figure out a way to do with the name infringement and all.
Ok, now i'm going to hide.

If you really want them to rerelease them on DVD why not have ALL the folks buy the old videos to kind of send a notice to WWE that people might want to see them rereleased on DVD. And by the way, talking to people is one thing but when the DVDs come out, and you buy them is another. So many people people liked (NOTE: Thanks to TVShowsonDVD for this) The Larry Sanders Show and The Mary Tyler Moore Show and wanted them put on DVD. Yet when they did come out on DVD, they did terrible sales. (Kinda off topic I know but I think it helps my point).
Dear Friends kind regards I would like to say to CRZ that I am only raising a point. I am being democratic in stating the facts. I am simply bringing up a subject worthy of a public forum. Now many points have been raised and I feel obliged to answer them. No one on this forum has said that they think its a bad idea to re-release all of the WWF Videos on DVD.........They just dispute the fact that others will bother about it. Well let me state this with sincerity-It is true that in SOME cases petitions are not valid..........but lets look at the facts. Silver Vision STILL made alot of money from the sale of old WWF videos in Great Britain and they admitted that fact plus Wrestling journalists admitted it. If the WWF Videos were re-released on DVD they WILL make huge profits and well they know it. People should actually voice their desires and I think in this case they do. When the WWE Silver Vision re-releases ALL of the WWF Videos and they make HUGE profits.........you guys will have to plead for an apology. yours thankfully John

That'll happen right about the time YOU would apologise for wasting the time of everyone on this board, I gather.
I am being democratic in stating the facts.
*I* am being the opposite of democratic in suppressing your opinion for at least 24 hours by banning you.
