I kinda like it. Very sea-and-sandy. Does this mean they won't have those boss camouflage jerseys anymore?

Tiny: Wayne! How you doin'? Wayne: Hey Tiny, who's playing today? Tiny: Jolly Green Giants and the Shitty Beatles. Wayne: Shitty Beatles? Are they any good? Tiny: Man, they suck! Wayne: Then it's not just a clever name --- from Wayne's World
Kirk, crackers are a family food. Happy families. Maybe single people eat crackers...we don't know. Frankly, we don't want to know. It's a market we can do without.-- Kirk Van Houten's former boss at the cracker factory
One joke, then my opinion. Are they going for the Gay Priest look?
I like them in general. I don't think the lettering on the road uniform meshes with the home, but it's still nice. I wish they'd change the cap, though.

I'm a sucker for that kind of font, and I'm feelin' the logo. But what the hell's with the road uni? And why does the guy (don't recognize his face) in the home pics have a shadow that looks like an eyepatch? o_o

The angle of the sun combined with the direction of his hat. Trevor Hoffman (I think) doesn't have it because he's looking up, but the other guy is looking down at the camera, thus the shadow.
That is Trevor Hoffman in the away uni, right?

Well, of course, but you'd think that whoever was the photographer on that would point it out, or do something about it.
Now I'm a guy born and raised a Seattle Mariner fan. Baseball to me is Dave Neihouse doing a game on the ole radio. There was nothing like seeing Griffey in his prime ... even in a dome. I've evolved though. I accepted the change to a bigger ballpark with less star power. I've learned to adapt to a nonsuperstar game of Ich, Edgar and Boone instead of Junior, ARod and Randy Johnson. Except I now live on the East Coast and though I hold the Mariners near and dear to my heart I was also saddened to see the Sox lose to the Yanks. I've also given up on the football team that I held season tickets to for three years, The Seahawks, in favor of Tom motherfuckin' Brady and *your* beloved Patriots.
What I'm really getting at here is the fact that I just purchased a beautiful San Diego Padres Jersey from the late 70's early 80's that just fucking rocks my world. It was only 14 dollars because it had no tag so they just sold it to me at a clearance price. Now what this brown jersey with the stitched on golden/orange letters was doing out here with no price tag I'll never know, but the fact that I'm now straight up pimpin' it like a mother fucker makes me grin in a way because I never liked or disliked this team from the Senior Circuit.
Whats's my point you ask. Fuck you, it's pretty fucking clear that we all think that the Pad's that we know and love(are indifferent to) should have gone back to the ways of the brown, orange and yellow jerseys because goddamn it ... they are nice.

Hell, you can have the current Brewers' look. Us old-school fans long for the return of the ball-and-glove logo, and these uni's. (sportsencyclopedia.com)
Yes, that's Teddy Higuera. Good times...
(EDIT: I saw that, Grimis! Can't wait.)

Just to make Thirll feel better. This was on OnMilwaukee.com. UP is Brewers CEO Ulice Payne:
OMC: Allow me to ask one selfish question. A while back we ran a poll on OnMilwaukee.com asking if fans would like to see a return to the old "ball and glove" Brewers logo?
UP: What were the results?
OMC: About 95 percent said yes. Everyone loves that logo. Even rappers are wearing Brewers hats!
UP: Yeah, 50 Cent. Allen Iverson. We checked with mlb.com, and the highest selling hat across the country is the Brewers throwback. Funny, we just changed logos two years ago, right? We have talked about this issue. Again, if the fans want it, you've got to give the fans what they want. But we invested a lot of money (in the current logo) and its merchandise. But rather than change (the logo) right now, they have batting practice jerseys and stuff. We might look to incorporate the old logo into the gear.
OMC: But down the road, you wouldn't rule it out?
UP: I wouldn't rule it out, but I just want to make sure my inventory is handled. You'd be surprised all the places that "M" is woven into. But we will change it, and when we do, I think we will look to go back to that.

Is it the Mitchell & Ness version or the replica's made by Majestic. I have a Mitchell & Ness 1984 Minnesota Twins Home jersey that costed me nearly 300 bucks. If it was the Mitchell & Ness version, then you, my friend made out with a steal, and even it it is the replica, 14 bucks still aint bad
I don't care what the uniforms look like (although I like them better than the blasted pinstripe ones they tried in the late 80's and early 90's). I'm just looking forward to 2004 in my new yard. I paid for my tickets for next season, and I'm ready to go.
I think Hoffman and Nevin were in the home jerseys, and Mark Loretta was in the road jersey.
Attempted murder... really. Do they give a Nobel Prize for Attempted Chemistry?
