"Adam Copeland (Edge) has reportedly landed a role in the next Batman flick titled "Intimidation." He will play a bad guy called Egghead. Production is scheduled to start February, 2004 at the famous Pinewood Shepperton Studios in England. David S. Goyer was recently announced as screenwriter for the project. Goyer is good friends with Triple H and helped him secure a part in the upcoming Blade: Trinity movie. [Thanks to PWTorch.com reader Mike Aldren]"

Well, it seems hHh, Rock, Taker, and now Edge are all off and headed to Hollywood. Good news for Edge!

Edge playing a character that was originated by Vincent Price in a bald wig? Not really seeing it ... especially not the "bald" bit. Has he fallen prey to the same Haircut Mafia that went after Test?

Egghead? Why?! Other than the fact that it's this close to Edgehead, his name for his fans.

Although that is good news for Edge. Maybe he'll get to do more in this new Bats flick than he did in that Highlander movie.

And don't forget about Mark's starmaking role in Suburban Commando!

Sounds like an action movie. I also found a review of it that said the director had cast "giants" as villains, so presumably our Mr. Callaway played one of those goons.

I was kinda excited about Christopher Nolan directing the new Batman movie because he would take it back to a darker place after the campiness of the last two movies.

And now....Egghead as a villain. Sigh.

I would imagine the character will not be the same "Egghead" from the 60's show... it'll probably be "random gang punk #3" or "easily disposed of henchman B."
If this even comes to pass, the character may go through several names. Perhaps EggHead is just an inside joke for Bat-fans or a rib on the Edgester, who, lets face it, gots a whole lotta noggin.

All you need to know is that Bruce Campbell is in this movie. That alone requires your attendance.

Good for Edge. He's probably one of the few guys in WWE that has the charisma to pull off a movie role, and I have a feeling this will be a whole mark-out thing for him (he just *seems* like the Batman fan type, I dunno). That's got to be welcome news after being out of the ring for such a long time...

I wonder if The Hurricane wishes he got to be in the movie being a comic book fan and all that.

To be honest I was thinking if Nintendo ever made another movie (I.E. Super Mario Bros.) like lets say Legend of Zelda I think Edge would be great for Link in that movie, maybe even Chrisitan, before he cut his hair.

Ooh, a ripoff of Legend with a Zelda twist. Maybe you could even get Tim Curry to play Ganondorf.

And I swear to god, they blew Bane and Mr. Freeze to hell in the last flick. Maybe they really don't care who the villain is, so long as it's somewhat accurate. Egghead. Did all the execs at Warner get stoned or something?

As others have said, it's 99% likely that Egghead will just end up being a henchman/hired thief/punchbag/whatever, considering that John Malkovich is on the table to play Ra's Al-Ghul. I'd still prefer The Scarecrow, but hey, you take what you can get.

I would actually watch a Batman movie with John Malkovitch as Ra's Al Ghul, and that is saying a lot.

On topic, I will destroy something if Edge has to cut his hair for this role. EGGHEAD? There are too few blond bishonen left in wrestling, and he has always been the best of the bunch.

Scrolling up, the Bollywood flick Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi did correctly list The Undertaker in the credits, however, it was not Mark Calloway, but actually Brian Lee.

The film was shot in Toronto during the Underfaker summer. The WWF was in town for a houseshow and the director learned of this and asked them to bring in a big wrestler for a role. He reprotedly was a casual fan and asked for the Undertaker after seeing his name on the card but I don't think he was expecting the one he got

Actually, he probably didn't know the difference since WWF programming is pretty behind in India and he was only a casual fan.

I agree full heartily (sp?). They've already taken Test, which was okay, then they took Christian, which sucked a bit. BUT NOT EDGE! They can't take his hair! Plus, Edge would look...weird...with no/short hair.
