The ArnoldFans.com Web site reported a rumor that John Milius, who is developing the sequel film King Conan: Crown of Iron, is eyeing the professional wrestler Triple H, aka Paul Levesque, to replace California governor-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger in the lead role. "Triple H might be a better and grittier fit" than other replacements for Schwarzenegger, who will likely put his film career on hold for a while, the site reported. "They also like his acting and believe he is the perfect age to show the transition from a younger Conan (flashbacks) and could also play the gray-bearded Conan."
Milius and Triple H are reportedly already working on a new action movie called Journey of the Deadman.
The site also reported that Milius will be doing an NPR radio interview this week and may discuss his decisions regarding the future of King Conan.
------ Well,I guess the movie train for HHH is rolling ahead. He is doing the new Blade movie, maybe the new Conan movie, and that Journey of the Deadman movie. I wonder how it will all pan out.
It's like a koala bear crapped a rainbow in my brain!
I think Tripsy should take some serious time out of the ring for all sorts of reasons. Movie-making would be just the ticket--laze around, work out, bellow into the cameras if he feels homesick. This is good. Maybe his soon-to-be wife would like a little Hollywood vacation too. Hey, this is a hot prospect! Keep your fingers crossed!
But I wish Arnold hadn't had to quit his day job in the first place, if you get my drift. :p
There's a problem with this.... Conan is really old in this movie, like in his 60s, I believe. Nearly a year ago, John Milius had stated that he was interested in HHH playing the part of Kon, Conan's adopted son. Schwarzenegger reportedly wanted The Rock for that role. (This is all according to movie sites, not wrestling sites.) Vin Diesel was also considered for the role but wasn't offered the part.
Rock has way too much stuff going on right now, so I'd say it's likely that HHH will be in the movie, but I seriously doubt it's as the part of Conan. Conan's role in this movie will require a lot of deep acting and very little action, not a role they're likely to give to a fledgling actor who's best known for beating people up.

Simple...settle it with Rock/HHH, contract-dangling-above-the-ring match. Arnold is your special guest ref, and Vin makes a run-in...only to get tossed by The Governator. Maybe make it the old blue STEEL CAGE OF DOOM for shits n' grins.
Subplot born the next show: Vin starts harassing Arnold, until he brings in fellow WWE ref and ex-gov Jesse The Body. Vin gets a partner (probably A-Train...shudder), and you've got a tag match at the next PPV.
What's the problem? :-)

Honestly, no one but Arnold can play Conan. Watch Coanan the Barbarian again, the character belongs to him. Now, from the rumors I was hearing, the new Conan movie wasn't going to be that great anyway, but without Arnold I don't even see the point.
The movie is definitely going to have to be on the "low budget" side if it's gonna make any money. The Rock is a much bigger name among non-wrestling fans than Triple H is, and even he couldn't sustain business at the box office after the opening week (and he had Christopher Walken & Stiffler as co-stars).
A movie with Triple H as the star is gonna tank fast after all the wrestling fans catch the movie in its opening week.........unless maybe they get a big name actor to play the villian, such as Colin Farrel or Tom Cruise, which ain't gonna happen.

Oh no, do I see the start of an acting career for Taker too? A cameo in this one and then hes off into Hollywood.
The Undertaker is already off to Hollywood. He is in a new movie called Phantasm's End . Taker plays a guy called "Lt. Jack Sanders". Its bio says:
"The year is 2012. There are only three U.S. states left. Between New York and California is the wasteland known as the Plague Zone. Unfortunately, the evil Tall Man (Angus Scrimm) controls that area. Since many people are dead, the Tall Man is able to make thousands of dwarf slaves for his planet daily in the Mormon Mausoleum. Besides him, the other residents are "baggers," human-like creatures that are infected by the Tall Man's blood, the dwarves, and, of course, the silver spheres, all trying to break out of the barrier that contains them and into the real world. A group of hi-tech troops are sent in to destroy the red dimension where the Tall Man gets his power, Reggie (Reggie Bannister) follows so he can find Mike (A. Michael Baldwin) after a series of nightmares he had. Will they be able to finally destroy the Tall Man for good?"
I'm gonna jack this thread for a quick second. Since we're talking about HHH and his adventures outside of the WWE, when is his book scheduled? Still in December, as I heard last. I assume, it's not coming out anytime soon, as I haven't seen it 10 times on RAW. Any info? Thanks!
