Triple H has signed on to topline Journada del Muerte (translated: Journey of Death) which is described as a "Modern Day Western" written by Apocalypse Now writer John Milius.

Possibly a bit more interesting for most of the readers here, he has signed on to play one of the foils for Wesley Snipes in New Line's upcoming Blade: Trinity

Jornada del Muerte is the first theatrical release from the recently formed WWE Production Banner. Milius describes the movie, which was written specifically for Triple H as: "a modern-day Western set in the Southwest that involves motorcycle gangs, drug trafficking and broken codes of honor."

No word on how this will affect Triple H's ring time. One wonders if he will be willing to job to Blade.

As for the Rock's movie why does Christopher Walken sign on for things like this. For as good as an actor as he is he has been in a lot of bombs.

I'm to the point now where I'm only catching bits and pieces of every show. The WWE has become a vehicle for the McMahons and you would think that sooner or later it will come back to bite them in the ass ... you would think.

I was just thinking the other day about how little wrestling I watch. I started to worry that I was actually growing out of wrestling. I know I'm not dedicated enough to search for tapes and I don't have the *bling* for NWATNA, so right now I've really been in a wrestling lull.

As for Triple H and the movie, who really fucking cares he can now have the title or any win he wants when he wants it so what's it really matter.

Can HHH act though? I'm being serious cause Rock may not be in the best of films but his great charisma at least translates to the screen. We all take pot shots at HHH for this and that but I seriously wonder if he can be in a film and actually have some screen presence. Though I have to admit the thought of Blade killing HHH speaks to the mark in me or even better let Jessica Beil who is also in Blade III kill him good.

Because they back up a dump truck full of money to his house?

They got a mule they call Sal, bulldozing up canal walls.

Bart Simpson: "Why Krusty? I'd never lend my name to a sub-par product..."
Krusty the Clown: *Sobbing* "They drove a dumptruck full of money up to my house! I'm only human!" *More sobbing*

The way I see it, Walken's got an Oscar and can do whatever the hell he wants to do. I'd rather he do...y'know, GOOD movies (Catch Me If You Can) rather than the ones he's done nowadays (Country Bears, Gigli, The Rundown).

My Calgary Flames are currently tied for first place overall with a record of 0-0-0-0. It's training camp, but it's a start, right?

I guess he can probably pull off a Vampire. The range of emotion isn't that great. The thing that should be interesting is how great is Triple H's wrestling audience? The Rock's proved to be big which led to some big HollyWood paydays. If Triple H's are as weak as people always claim it is it could be a real shot to his ego. The WWE machine might be pretty mighty and powerful, but it always proves itself to be quite weak when it steps out of it's little realm.

You gotta wonder if there is a boardroom meeting in Hollywood as we speak to where a couple of the participants are lobbying to get the third Blade movie's title change to Blade: The Game ...

Triple H is at least as good of an actor as Henry Rollins. Make him the background tough guy.

That being said, I kept thinking Hunter had the look to be in LOTR: The Two Towers. He could have been the guy that was banished from that one kingdom and took his squadron with him. He had the look and the part didn't require a whole lot of talking or any kind of complx motivation.

I hope HHH gets you fired.

Please never mention HHH and Lord of The Rings in the same sentence again. I can see Sauron jobbing to HHH and it makes me sad. Well the fact that I just showed my inner geek makes me sad as well. Sigh.

The One Belt does corrupt all. You got to admit he looked the part for that kingdom though.

The Championship belt that Triple H wears is not the original belt.......he had this one especially made for him.

I get the feeling that this might end up being like The Undertaker being in Suburban Commando. Maybe not that small of a role I guess, but I'm not sure that he'll be more than "Vampire Bodyguard #2" in the final credits. Remember that Edge was in Highlander and they didn't push the hell out of that movie on WWE tv (although I realize that that was Edge and this is Triple H).

Question; why is everybody running down the Rundown already? Granted, it doesn't look like the cure for cancer, and is far from an Oscar winner, but it could be fun to watch. All I'm saying is at least give the damn movie a chance to fail, rather than portray it a failure already.

They have GOT to give up on the Guerrero heel turn. Yeah the Fresno crowd may have been biased but Eddie is just waaaay too over to be facing midcard and upper-midcard faces without overshadowing them.
