Actually, I think the words and music are by Jim Johnston, Motorhead just recorded the song (and picked up the check).

When is the next "WWE The Music" or "WWE Anthology" CD coming out? Lord knows that Cena's theme, as well as Taker's, Evolution's, and Guerrero's themes would have to be on there.

And true about Jim Johnston writing the lyrics/musical score to Evolution's theme. Lemmy said Johnston did on WWE Confedentle. HHH just got Motorhead to sing it for the group.
I always thought of Taker's Deadman(heel version of theme) as the "tide the fans over" theme until the real lyrical version came out.
WHY?!
Pretty obvious, to me at least, when they tested the You're Gonna Pay BGM at Judgment Day 2002 and RAW the next night.
By the wat RAW 2 for XBOX has almost complete version John Cena's Word Life theme. Also complete version of Nash's, Jazz's, and Dreamer's theme.
Now all we need is the C&C version of Los Guerroes Theme "Lie, Cheat, and Steal" as well a clear verison of Motorhead's Evolution theme. And Hopefully we get both on WWE Smackdown!: HCTP.
