| #1 Posted on 17.2.02 0319.54 | does anyone know why there are no wrestling games for the PC? It seem the last one developed was WCW Nitro (crap) which was years ago.
I'm not going to buy a console just to play a wrestling game. I'm a PC guy. Just like I'm not going to buy a x-box to play Halo, I'll wait till it comes onto the PC (hopefully). I don't like to showboat, but I've got a all-singing, all-dancing PC!
BTW, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault kicks ass!!!!!!!!!!

| #2 Posted on 17.2.02 0402.43 | There are so! WWF With Authority! sucks, but it's a game...there's also Extreme Warfare and whatever other sim games there are. Let's put it this way, when PC gamers don't turn up their noses at gamepads, then you'll probably see No Mercy ported over.

| #3 Posted on 17.2.02 0415.57 | There are ways to play games like WWF No Mercy, WCW Revenge, WWF Wrestlefest..etc..but to do that you must own the original game. And since I have 89 Arcade Machines thats in the basement it was perfectly legal to download a back up copy just in case...cough... www.mame.dk ..cough.
And since I own 102 Game Boy Advance Cartridges like Fire Pro Wrestling, and Road to Wrestlemania but I don't have a GBA yet it was ok for me to download them off Morpheus too.
All those great SNES wrestling games that never made it to the states are there too...ahem.....cough...... http://www.w-player.com/16.html ..ahem..damn sore thoat. But remember you must own the original game. Piracy hurts the 750 billion dollar video game industry and it also makes Baby Jesus cry.

Or...You can download yourself a copy of MAME and a copy of WWF WrestleFest and entertain yourself four hours like I did.

| #7 Posted on 17.2.02 1707.01 | | Do you have any problems running Fire Pro Wrestling on a GBA emulator? I can't get a match to actually end. It's just a brawl. The ref never counts pins or checks on submissions, so they always end in time limit draws. I'm using BoycottAdvance 0.22rb3 to play the Rom (that I of course dumped from the cartridge I legally own) of it. I've seen a patch somewhere but the server had killed the file, so I don't know if that's what I need. | SeVen â„¢

| #9 Posted on 18.2.02 0424.29 | Instant Rating: 5.01 | The best computer wrestling game, to me, is the most recent update of Promotion Wars. I'm having a blast trying to build the WWA up from its current form to a legitimate ratings contender with the WWF.
So far, I'm doing very well, as my Nitros and even Wednesday Warfare shows are consistently pulling down ratings of at least 3.
As for other wrestling games, you can't beat the good ol' e-wrestling federation. Check out the best one on the 'net, linked here as it always has been.
