| #21 Posted on 7.7.03 1155.03 | Sorry to be off topic here, (this doesn't really deserve it's own thread) but Spiff reminded me- did anybody else watch Velocity on Saturday with Noble vs. Spanky. God DAMN that was a good match. Noble has a new finisher, so between that and his new inheritance, they GOTTA be pushing him again. Right?
It's really a shame about how the Nidia thing has buried him, because they could pimp the fuck out of Noble. If Jamie lost Nidia, was 6 inches taller and 50 pounds heavier, I fully believe he'd be tearing shit up with Angle right now. I'm completely sold that Noble is the best wrestler on either roster right now.

Rargh! I missed Velocity, and according to the Observer, Noble busted out Milano Collection's "AT Lock". He now officially rules.

Well, it's not like he has much competition. Benoit's been on cruise control lately, however Eddy's been tearing it up. Angle's up there, too. But, yeah, I'd put Knoble near the top.

| #24 Posted on 7.7.03 1255.01 | I'm not quite sold on Noble being the BEST SmackDown worker, but as Spiff said, he is up there. That crown would still sit firmly on Angle's head, though-although Noble does cruise past Benoit at this point for trying much much harder when given the opportunity. Although me sheer swankness at this point, I really can't get enough of Spanky. If they actually put Nunzio, Spanky, Noble, Tajiri et al on the same level as Rey Rey and Ultimo...think of the possibilities.
Hmmm.... Maybe we need some form of workrate listing for each roster...Back in a jiffy!

Wonder why the best matches are on Velocity or Heat, anyhow...I find myself infinately more entertained by Velocity than Smackdown nowadays....
Good call about Noble, though. Nidia and Noble are probably the WWE's longest lasting couple/storyline, if memory serves me right.

I can't remember the last time Dreamer won a singles match, but I remember Maven winning a few matches, including one over Nowinski. Maven has also defeated Stevie Richards a few times before Stevie's new SNHeat mini-push.
Point is, Maven got screwed.
Molly over Trish on Heat? WWE, you're the best. And don't let anybody tell you any different.

| #27 Posted on 7.7.03 1842.22 | If Noble lost Nidia, he'd still be saddled with McMahon's Dumb Redneck Gimmick #243 and still be Velocity fodder. I don't think Noble's lack of overness is a reflection on Nidia -- it's more a reflection on the booking, which hasn't given him a chance to get much in the way of heat. When was the last time he had a real feud with someone the crowd cared about? What's so heelish about him coming into money and getting all noveau-riche?

Shem, what I meant was, as the story supposedly goes, Stephanie made mention that she thought Nidia looked fat in a bikini or some such nonsense (consider the source), and the general concensus from Meltz and the like is that Stephanie just doesn't like her for some reason, which most people suspect is why Noble hasn't exactly been doing a lot over the past several months.

I guess we can shunt Nash down a few pegs after 7/7 RAW.
And its kinda tough to give Michaels any sort of ranking seeing as he's part time at best as far as wrestling on RAW goes.

Wait till you see the one this week between Nunzio and Spanky -- it puts last week's to shame. Just a terrific match between those two.
