During the playoffs why did Marv call Mike Fratello "CZAR"? Did it have to do something with those screens that they have on TNT? I hope to God CZAR is not the next coach of the hornets.

I believe Marv likes (liked?) to refer to him as "the czar of the Telestrator" for some reason I never figured out...I guess he'd moved beyond the Telestrator by the time I started watching them on NBC...

Yea, when Mike Fratello works the Miami Heat local TV games, play-by-play guy Eric Reid always calls him the "Czar of the Telestrator" as well.

Hidden message: Mike Fratello is a communist. If he takes over the Hornets, he'll have Baron Davis reciting from the little red book in no time.

Over 1300 posts and still never a Wiener of the Day!

In the issues of December 16th, 2000 to November 10th, 2001, we may have given the impression that George W. Bush had been legally and duly elected president of the United States. We now understand that this may have been incorrect, and that the election result is still too close to call. The Economist apologizes for any inconvenience.

Why would he be a communist? They were the ones that executed the czar. Absolutist: yes. Communist: no.

I consider the switch from Pathetic to Loser to be a promotion.

For all his perversions, I don't think Rasputin was as kinky as Marv.

Can't spell "czar" without CRZ...

...maybe Zed'll take the Hornets gig; only to turn heel on 'em next time they play Sacramento?
