| #3 Posted on 12.5.03 1326.05 | It's fun to bash successful, rich people, isn't it? You know they see articles like that and laugh while they're swimming in their gold plated jacuzzis.
Edit - I don't like the music either, but these things aren't "forced down our throats". Just turn off MTV if it's not what you like. I just listen to my own music on my own time and don't bother with pop stations or TV.

| #6 Posted on 13.5.03 1856.07 | The White Stripes are popular. Therefore, they are terrible. It's how the people who "think for themselves" and "don't allow MTV to dictate what they listen to" get their orders what they're supposed to like to maintain their image of "cool".
I know a guy who was a big ska fan who threw away all his Mighty Mighty Bosstones CDs a few years ago when "The Impression That I Get" became a big hit, and he couldn't understand why I felt that made him a poseur.
CHRISTIAN, n. 1. One who believes that the New Testament is a divinely inspired book admirably suited to the spiritual needs of his neighbor. 2. One who follows the teachings of Christ in so far as they are not inconsistent with a life of sin. 3. That guy what used to team with Edge. | OndaGrande

| #7 Posted on 13.5.03 1932.10 | AHOY MATES!I like Avril, and the Donnas too. The White stripes are O.k. but are not the be all and end all that some people say they are. 50 cent I could care less about and Good Charlotte SUCK and are more of an affront to real Punk Rock than Avril (who to be fair has never said she is Punk Rock musically, it's just her attitude that is.)
