| #1 Posted on 4.2.02 0355.46 | Hey... sorry if this has been mentioned before - I was reading your OVW recap tonight and the name Rico Constantino stuck with me... I just remembered why.
Wasn't there a Rico Constantino that won American Gladiators a long time ago? Is this the same guy?| Promote this thread! | | Excalibur05

I really wish I had something, more cool or flashy to say. Rico won American Gladiators. Now he's a wrestler.

| #4 Posted on 4.2.02 2024.01 | Meltzer has been touting him for months as the "minor leaguer" most ready to come up to the big leagues.
The two biggest things, holding him back According to Dave, are his age (40) and his haricut (which Dave described as 1980s Rick Martel)
Well, one of those things was taken care of recently. When we were at SD! last week, he has a new haircut, a little more modern.
Everyone seems to be saying that the "dark match talent" (Constantino, H20man, Brock and Orton) will probably end up on TV once the split happens.

| #5 Posted on 5.2.02 0757.45 | Rico does appear to be pretty good in the ring, but I'm more excited about Brock Lesnar, the Prototype and possibly Leviathan being the next big stars that will have gotten their start in OVW.
I just don't know if Rico has the natural charisma or charm to make it big. Of course, he can play a pretty good dick so who knows?
That's why I like the Prototype so much. He plays an awesome a$$hole. He's just pure arrogance (no offense to Mr. Martel), plus he can back it up in the ring.
Leviathan is just so large and built. I doubt he will ever develop the dexterity in the ring that Brock has, but if he does, look out. Leviathan would be a good fit for the Undertaker/Kane type of role. Especially a Kane type guy, doesn't say much, looks like a legit ass-kicker.
Of course, OVW also has Sean O'Haire who is refining his skills as well as Ron "H2O" Waterman who looks pretty good too.
That's why OVW has been so much fun to watch.

| #7 Posted on 7.2.02 0102.24 | Rico plays a good dick heel? MAAAN. Figures he was stuck playing bland vanilla babyface when they were in Wichita. /: I wasn't impressed by him much at all... he just seemed... there.
And I, too, was disappointed The Brock didn't bust out a SSP for us. Would have popped us entertainment-desparate Midwesterners SO big... but he and Waterman were both really entertaining, in an old-school sort of way.
