AIM: # 1 Posted on 8.12.04 0744.59 | Instant Rating: 5.31 I've been wondering on and off about the ratings for specific threads and forums: Are they an average of all the users posting in that thread/forum? Or (far less likely, I'm sure) do the Zimmermans go through and rate them all by hand? Is there some kind of formula or is it just a straight average? It's an average...easiest way to figure it out? The thread had the same rating as you did before I replied (since your post was the only one in the thread obviously). Unfortunately, I'm dragging the thread rating down, because mine is lower than yours. YOU OWN ME! Is there a way to make a tab on people's posts to send them a private message instead of clicking on their name and scrolling to the bottom of their profile?
