I figured since nobody else started a thread on last nights show I would. I was ready to give up on the promotion a few months ago, but the shows have improved the last month or two. I'm really enjoying the Daniels-Styles feud as well as Bully Ray's work as well as Bobby Roode's push. Anyway I thought last night show besides for a few exceptions was pretty solid. Even the Hogan-Sting segment wasn't that bad as it had a purpose as Hogan was playing a chicken shit heel that wanted no part of Sting and Sting was desperate to get Hogan in the ring. The Tessmacher-Mickie James match was better than expected as imo Tessmacher has improved a bit in the ring. It was a shortish match and wasn't offensive or anything. BTW Kazarian is now defending Traci after Karen Jarrett is bashing here. Where was he when it was implied that she slept with Bischoff to try and get the job of knockouts authority figure? I guess we're supposed to forget that. The Mexican America segment was the low light of the night with them going to the tattoo parlor and getting into a never ending brawl with Ink Ink. Man is the tag division dead. I hope we don't see them facing off at BFG no reason to get that match on your biggest ppv. Aries Vs Sorenson wasn't a bad match but they're still not really doing anything with the X division and Sorenson has no real personality. He looks like Randy Orton from ten years ago and comes out with his old High School jacket and a football. Is he Al Bundy or something? I thought the Morgan-Hardy backstage talk with Morgan talking about his pain killer addiction and how he's been clean for four years was a solid segment . I usually hate handicap matches but Anderson Vs Lynn and Bully Ray was better than expected. I loved Lynn mocking RVD the whole match by flipping around like RVD and eye poking Anderson. I would have had Bully Ray gone over clean but him hitting Anderson with a chain didn't annoy me as a finish. The Angle- Roode showdown was very well done again and Roode carries himself like a big star and James Storm's mic work continues to be very strong. He has a ton of charisma and I hope he'll be get a main event push as well. Daniels mic work in antagonizing Styles is great and while they had a good intense brawl it went on too long. That said, the feud is going really well and has breathed new life in Daniels. Hogan saying he has a very big announcement that will shock the wrestling world drew a eye roll. Hogan's contract is up soon, but I highly doubt he's going anywhere. The Hardy-Angle backstage segment was akward and I didn't like Hardy calling himself Angle's biggest threat. Angle Vs Storm was a fantastic Main Event that got 12-13 minutes and had no commercial break. Angle made Storm look like a million bucks and Storm even had a visual pin on Angle with the ref down. Gunner caused the dq I guess and the show ended with Roode holding the world title. IMO the last half hour was really strong and had great purpose with th Styles-Daniels feud and The main event as well as the strong push of Bobby Roode. They seem to be going with a mostly no nonsense approach to BFG and it's working. Anyone else watched? Thoughts?

I think that you need to learn how to use paragraphs.

I thought one of the better parts was Mickie's reaction of after getting some sorta stink faced butt popped by Miss Tessmacher. She had the look of "This shit is why I left WWE and now I am going to kill his ho." And she did, she did. I like the Bobby Roode stuff even the fake out of James Storm turning on him. I hated the Jeff Hardy stuff. The sad puppy dog eyes did nothing for me. The faces ripping him apart only to pump him up was just stupid. I just don't see this working for TNA, they way they want it to. If they really wanted to do shoot promos Morgan instead of saying Kurt is afraid of Jeff should said ask him how his driving is.

The Sting/Hogan stuff has to end soon. I am bored to death by it and its getting the way of BFG having what could be a great title match and champion at the end of it. If the rumors about Hogan using Hulkamania as a bargaining chip to be resigned are true then Dixie needs someone to tell her that she has the winning hand over Hulk.

I did not watch it. I read about it though and I saw Jeff Hardy and Kurt Angle are still there so I will not be watching any time soon. I also saw that Matt Morgan admitted to Jeff Hardy on camera that he was addicted to painkillers while Kurt Angle, who is addicted to alcohol and who knows what else he's probably taking doesn't admit his own addictions while saying that invisible people standing in the corner don't want him in TNA and this whole mess makes me wanna throw up.

TNA... what the fuck is wrong with you people? Can this shit get any worse? I'm guessing the answer to my rhetorical question is yes... yes it can and will.

Forget it Josh... it's Cerebustown.

I'm sure she'll re-sign Hogsn and Bischoff because she's an imbecile. I read that the ratings the next few weeks will bear out whether they're re-signed. I suspect that Hogan will turn face after BFG and we'll have power struggle between him and Bischoff, which will be the same old shit.

I don't recall Mickie James "leaving" WWE as much as she was released and wished well on her future endeavors.

I've given up on them unless they are bought out by someone else. Used to be a huge TNA apologist even when Russo was head booker (he actually did a good job during the period between Cornette leaving and Hogan coming in).

That said, Dixie Carter is the problem with the company and she isn't going anywhere unless Panda sells the company. She has all the traits of an awful owner of a wrestling promoter. She's a money mark who bankroles "names" with no understanding of their name value translating to buys. I have to wonder if she has done any sort of research on the wrestling industry other than being a fan (and who knows if she was even a fan before?). Surely if you run a company you would look at other business models in the industry and see what made companies succeed and fail. But by her modeling of TNA after 2000 era WCW, I would say no.

What clinched the death of my faith in TNA was her shoot interview where she admitted to firing the entire writing staff minus Russo if the fans continued chanting "Fire Russo".

This is where I'm at, too. The pre-Hogan period -- lasting a few months, maybe, and featuring the rise of Desmond Wolfe -- was the last time I was excited about the company, and I quit watching completely months and months ago. It will take them not just "improving" but undergoing a total renovation to convince me to give up my much-needed spare time to them again.

Hi, graves! To answer you from the other thread, I am doing fine. I lurk here regularly, but haven't been watching much wrestling at all lately, so I keep pretty quiet.

The past couple of weeks have been a very positive change of pace for TNA.

Kurt Angle screwing with Bobby Roode's mind is great. Angle and Steiner hanging out is even better.

It was interesting to see Ink Inc again. I get the impression that Shannon's team returning was tied to Jeff Hardy being back on air.

Anarchia's fear of needles was fun.

Good to see Ink Inc. commit a felony by forcing a tattoo on a guy, all to get revenge for......um......uh......yyyyyeahhhh.....I'm lost here. Ink Inc. hasn't been on TV in weeks. Why are they attacking Mexican America at all, much less in such an extreme and rather illegal manner?

Especially when they're the faces.... it makes no sense.

I'm more confused about how Mexican America and Ink Inc are on Impact and British Invasion are not.

No kidding. Hard to believe how far the tag division has fallen. Shows how important the Gunns are to the division, but also why you have to have more than two good teams to keep a division.

Mexican America will never be anything more than LAX lite and I just can't care. Ink Ink is a good buffer team to fill out the division, but nobody I want to see near the titles. Time to call the Briscos.

And or Haas and Benjamin. Angle has been pushing for Dixie to sign Haas and Benjamin for over a year.

Mickie carried Brooke through a watchable match. Agree with LOTJX about Mickie's reaction. That was the gold in the match. Aries is one of the other reasons I'm actually watching this garbage again. Roode and Storm cut great promos. I am a fan of Sarita & Rosita but hate they are caught up in this horrid crap. & if you blinked you missed her, but seeing Christina Von Eerie on my TV made me a happy man! so I give impact a generous 40% this week.

YES. As delusional as Angle can be, he seems like a voice of reason in TNA if this is true.

I actually thought it was the opposite in the Mickie and Brooke match. Brooke seems to actually been trying to improve while, for the last couple of weeks, Mickie just seems to on cruise control.

I agree about Sarita though - she deserves much more then LAX Lite. Aren't they the Knockouts tag team champions, any way?

Tara and Tessmacher beat them for the titles a month or so ago.
