| #1 Posted on 19.2.03 1447.08 | I'll keep it nice and simple;
Chris Benoit def. A-Train
Rikishi def. Johnny "the Bull" Stamboli. Beat down on Rikishi by the Italians followed the match
Matt Hardy and Shannon Moore def. Rey Rey & Billy Kidman (Matt pinned Kidman)
Undertaker got 2 more crates delivered to the ring. First one contained a puppy (?). Went to open the second one and got jumped from behind by Big Show. Big Show later wittered on a bit backstage about how he wasn't afraid of facing Taker at NWO. I'm sure we can expect a 5 star match from these two great workers.
Nidia def. Torrie
Angle came down for his match with Lesnar, but said Lesnar would have to beat Haas, then Benjamin before he could 'earn' the right to face him. After Lesnar beat Benjamin, Angle jumped him from behind and Lesnar took a bit of a beating from Team Angle before Edge and Benoit came down for the save.
Other notes: Rocky and Hogan had a bit of interaction, at the end of which Hogan slapped the Rock. Rock laughed it off and left the ring.
Nathan Jones interview included him saying hopw he was the 'biggest dog in the yard'. Guess we can expect him to provide Takers annual WM bitch.

| #2 Posted on 19.2.03 1742.03 | I heard that when Lesnar fought Haas and Benjamin, it had little heat, and a lot of people left during those matches. Damn.
Anyway, Heel Rock, repordetly stole the show.

I (Heart) Team Angle.
I (Heart) Benoit.
Heel Rock owns us all.
No Way Out looks to be good...the SmackDown side of the card, as usual, looks to have solid action-packed action whilst RAW's side will have...well, SHOCKING SWERVES.

| #4 Posted on 19.2.03 2053.21 | Why is Stamboli jobbing to Rikishi? New to SD in a new heel group, and he jobs in his 1st match? WTF? The beat-down after the match doesn't count, since you need to have guys win matches to get over.

That's a good question. This constant Rikishi push boggles my mind. He has been doing the same thing for foever now, same stuff every single match. I think it's pretty boring and to be honest I didn't think he was that great even when he was still fresh. They don't move him up the card, they don't move him down the card, he just stays in the one same spot continously beating guys that he shouldn't be beating. Chavo had to job to him when he was starting out on Smackdown. Eddie too. Cena, yup. Bill Demott add him to the list. Now Johnny the Bull. Seems like everyone who is new to Smackdown gets thrown into a feud with Rikishi and Rikishi always comes out on top.

| #6 Posted on 20.2.03 0715.57 | And on top of that, Palumbo/Nunzio beat Nova/Some Jobber in the Velocity tapings, although I doubt it will air since they haven't debuted Nova yet. So the 1st match we see involving The Family involves 1 of its members jobbing to a guy that sticks his ass in people's faces & dances post-match.

| #7 Posted on 20.2.03 0807.20 | Nova did make an appearance a month ago (as Mike Bucci) against Jamie Noble in a Velocity match.
I guess they dropped the interaction between Noble and Nunzio.

| #8 Posted on 20.2.03 0852.22 | Benoit has to try to carry A-Train 2 straight weeks? Anyone else think Rikishi will be gone very quickly if Catchphrase ever just decides to focus on movies? Torrie actually jobs? With miracles like this occurring, perhaps there is hope for a Benoit World Title reign this year. Something is always lacking when Kurt doesn't have a match.

| #9 Posted on 20.2.03 1929.07 | Geez, now they're doing 'blowoff before the PPV' shows too.
Come on, everyone knew they weren't going to give away Angle/Lesnar.
Does Nidia winning mean her doghouse days are over?
Well, it was either Rikishi wins the squash or they have Guido hit him with a box of canoli or something. |
