It's time forThe Great Thomas's Random SmackDown! Thoughts!

Here's the lowdown: Lesnar's a face, Benoit's a face, Angle's a tweener, I think.

End the Al Wilson angle already! We KNOW they had HLA! Damn, even TAZZ is acting like Lawler! WOO-HOO!

Little Guido has arrived in WWE! OMG NIDIA FACE TURN! Maybe... I hope.

Rock is on Confidential, and he will come back to electrify!

Steiner goes to RAW. Good. He looks like a RAW guy to me.

SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth:, with Trippulaytch on the cover. OMG HHH HOLDS DOWN 4 WRESTLERS AT ONCE LOLZ!!!1!

Rey-Rey has surgery, and A-Train gets a main-event push, or at least up to the Upper Midcard...

Marijuana slows your reaction time. Good thing that little girl was wearing a helmet!

Can Edge and Angle get a ***** match out of half-a-ton of meat calling itself Big Show and A-Train? That's for me to know and you to find out!

That's all for this week. Until then, Good Night, take care of yourselves, and this weekend, I SWEAR I'm buying SmackDown: SYM!

Please, let "the end (be) near" for the God-awful Al/Dawn/Torrie (notice she was nippin' in the hallway) storyline. I feel my brain try to escape through my ears and nose everytime I have to watch that stuff. At least put a bullet in Al's temple - he'll be so much better off than he is, bumbling his way through this "relationship".

Y'know, those BOD commercials are the same ones they used when that stuff first appeared, like four or five years ago. And I didn't like them then, either.

Eddie and Chavo get new tights. So does Kidman.

SPP - all I've got to say: boomshakalaka, freaks and peaks, chainmail, blah blah. All I gather from this is Steph likes guys who fly into roid rages, but not enough to have sex with them in public. What a cunt.

Overall: eh. Some good stuff (the two tag matches), some horrible stuff (Dawn/Al/Torrie), some forgettable stuff (Rikishi/Bull/Cena). Who in the blue hell is that interviewer? What have they done with Funaki, Smackdown Number 1 reporter? And why the heck did Angle and Brocky let the cameraman film their discussion?

No, I'm not buying the PPV. I'm saving my money to buy some BOD body spray and that purple dragon video game with the annoying farm commercial.

We were blown away by that because none of the spoiler reports I read mentioned it was Josh.

For me, the big question of the night would be..."Is Mysterio going to have his surgery in his MASK?!?"

The big shining moment of the night for me was Angle and Lesnar's conversation, since it opens the door to start this feud, and I can't wait.

Maybe it's the fact that the main event featured the amazing tag team talents of Albert and Big Show, but this to me was one of the least appealing Smackdown eps in weeks. I have no interest in the PPV at all.

It ocurred to me that this Pay-Per-View seems rather.....shall I say, hastily thrown together? I mean, Benoit and Angle are now faces, whereas they were both heels just last week, and now, despite being a Tag Team Champion, Eddie Guerrero has a singles match.

Speaking of which, the Smackdown Tag Champs are persuing two different interests, while the Raw Tag Champs actually have a title defense. Wasn't it the other way around at the last PPV? And is it just me, or was his name still Albert when the show started, and didn't become A-Train until the segment before the main event? Did I miss something there?

Random Smackdown Thoughts:

Wasn't Marc Loyd the backstage interviewer for Smackdown? And for that matter what happend to Funaki?

Match of the night was Los Guerreros vs.Kidman/Benoit.

I kinda expected Steiner to go to Raw. Is Steph still a face, or is she a heel?

I like how they had the music and sound effects for Albert an hour after Heyman called him A-Train.

Main event was eh.

Overall, last night's Smackdown was the weakest in quite some time.

If we were following conventional booking logic, does Big Show going over Angle clean mean that Angle's going to win at Armageddon? I wouldn't think so, but who knows at this point.

And Angle was crazy over last night, leading to me believing that Angle/Lesnar is going to draw like a motherfucker. If they can build some strong storylines around other wrestlers on both shows, the turnaround might start coming.

I for one am pissed about the Steph/Scott Steiner confrontation.

Does the WWE really want us to boo that Stephanie didn't have probable unprotected sex with Steiner, just so he could come to SD? Are we supposed to cheer for a guy who would sleep his way to the SD brand?

This may follow in line with Scott's character, but not Steph's! The slut chant hadn't been heard since earlier this year before the brand extension. In fact, they chanted slut because Steph WOULDN'T give it up to Scotty? It makes no sense to me, and it sounds like the WWE Heat Machine couldn't make up its mind either.

Other than that, SD was OK.

The call is from heroism, will you accept the charges?

Show didn't really go over Angle "cleanly," since it was heyman's distraction of Angle that led to the Big Show chokeslam and the win.

Steph said something like "What kind of a person do you think I am?" to Steiner after he tried to make out with her... wich reminded the fans what she was... a slut.

Unless Heyman directly physically interfered with the match, I consider it a clean pin. It's more of a heel clean pin. Unless the rules are broken(chair shot, grabbing tights, etc.) it's a clean pin.

I just watched the Smackdown on tape. I few months ago I never missed it live now it takes 3 days for me to finally say "I'll guess I'll check it out". Well I did and the opening video package is Torrie/Dawn storyline. Hum I guess now I know why I wasn't dying to watch this

-B2 vs. Rikishi- Oh lets start it off with Rikishi, is his name B-Two or B-squared? Well nice move by B2 leaping on the top rope and coming off with a clothesline.

-DeMott vs. Moore- DeMott YELLS. But does hit a pretty sweet looking moonsault in this 90 second match.

-Los Guerreros vs. Kidman/Benoit- Great match, I haven't seen this much life in Kidman since the early Invasion days. Is it now custom to go into commercial breaks during the most inconvenient time during the match (cutting to breat when Bubba gets ready to place Victoria through a table)now they cut in the middle of a submission move. I don't mind at all cutting to a commercial if it means longer matches but don't do it during major spots. Benoit was Germaning everyone and threw someone right on Kidman *ouch*. Well that was the best match of the night.

-Torrie/Dawn/Al- Well lets take a nosedive now shall we. Dawn has sex with Al's daughter and Al seems "okay" with it. Torrie comes down and the wind from her slaps knocked everyone down WOW. Baby Hebner gets a hand full of Torrie. You know this was bearable when this show had 90 to 100 solid minutes of good stuff, now it's just really embarrassing.

-Crash vs. Noble- Nice headscissors into a face plant, and cool Crash setup for his finisher, that's a sweet finisher Crash has but Cousin Nunzio came out to help and he's ITALIAN. But Noble looks nothing Italian. OH well Nidia looked sad (no not Torrie/Dawn type of sad/pathetic) but upset and angry. It's got my attention.

-Steph/Steiner inring- Very funny TorchSlasher. A girl sleeps with the boss is a slut a guy sleeps with a boss is a stud. I can't figure it out either. Steiner going to Raw. I really think this falls under addition by subtraction for Smackdown

BigSHow/Albert v. Angle/Edge- This match wasn't bad, wasn't bad at all. I like Albert he's pretty decent big guy and worked well with the smaller faces in the ring. Very amazing AngleSlam on BigShow. Main event wasn't great but better then expected.

other stuff: Good chat by Angle to Lesner, mostly because Angle did the talking lol... Heyman always amazing, great chat with Steph in the back... Edge interview was alright nothing really added.

Smackdown just seems to have dropped big time in the last month or two. The bad is outweighing the good and Raw seems to be a better overall 2 hour show then SMackdown recently.

Oh they have the internet on computers now!
