Bret Hart will be appearing on an ABC special titled "Contact: Talking to the Dead." The one hour special will feature a psychic named George Anderson who will attempt to communicate with the Bret's late brother Owen Hart as well as his late mother Helen Hart. The special is scheduled to air on April 22nd at 10PM ET.
--------------------------------------------
From this we can surmise one of the following:
1 - Bret has finally completely lost his mind.
2 - Bret's appearance will consist of him beating the shit out of Mr. Anderson (Ha!)
3 - Bret has decided to explioit his brother's death, much like he accused Vince of doing.
4 - The 411 board has been fooled.
My guess is 1), and option 3) is a direct offshoot of 3). The question that should be posed at this point is: "Who is going to turn off RAW to watch this?"
Not to disrepect the memory of the departed or anything but the Next time Bret says anything about the WWF exploiting or having exploited the Owen Hart Tragedy, he can kindly shut his mouth. After pulling this stunt...
If the person could contact the dead (which I personally don't believe), I think it'd be great if he told Bret that Owen says to "Shut your whiny ass up."
In all reality, Bret's gone off the deep end, which is really sad.

Yeah. I hope Owen tells him to quit bitching about something that happened five years ago and go back to the WWF like the fans who he claims to care so much about want him to do.
Mind you I'm not counting myself among those fans, cause I lost all respect for Bret loooooooooong before this.
Everything's cool when you're Yun [point] Cheol [point] Su [point]
I am not surprised at all. Bret is a big fake. A Whining fake at that. This proves it without a shadow of a doubt. He better not ever, ever say anything about Vince exploiting Owen's death. I cannot believe this man

Aw man, I was probably the biggest Bret Hart fan left (and there aren't many of us you know...). Now, after reading Under the Mat, then this, Bret has gone bonkers. So sad. Get well soon Bret.
Are you ready for Mahkan-mania to run wild all over you?
Originally posted by BrewGuySeriously though - this is horrible. Poor Bret will be embarassed. Man, that family has had the craziest, worst luck, and it's a real shame.
Explain how this is unlucky and not horrible judgement on Bret's part?
Any chance the psychic will get the wrong fucked up family line to the afterlife and we'll end up getting a mass apology from all the Von Erichs for their stupidity?
"You used it to shove your miserable daughter down our throats week in and week out...not anymore!" - Ric Flair gives me hope, Raw 3/18/02
"I thought it was cool how HHH just tossed Jericho out of the ring and made him vanish, possibly into another dimension, at the end of the match." - Dr. Unlikely says the funniest thing I've ever read on Wienerville.
Bret's definitely gone. Paddling down the river of Insanity. Then again - if you went through what he has in the past 5 years - you wouldn't be too sane either.
And to think he had the opportunity to get a reaction similar to what Hogan is getting now AND get his precious tape archive (I'm assuming his WWF & WCW work) AND punk out Vince McMahon on live PPV in front of nearly 70,000 of his countrymen.

He said "NO."

That is the part that is so hard to understand. Now, he would not go to WM18, put VKM in a Sharpshooter, get his tape library, all in front of 70k Canadians. But he will go on this show to "Talk to Owen". Get the f out of here. This is truly bad judgement. I can't wait to read his article this week to see how he explains this one away.

"We've made contact with him, Bret...What's that, Owen?"
"I BEAT YOU! I BEAT YOU! WHOOOOOOO!"
Seriously, though, I'm praying for Goldberg to show up and kick him in the head again. Maybe that will clear up whatever the Hell is wrong with the man. I hope Stu has some serious words with him concerning this matter.
