OH

MY

GOD!

The Island Boys (or is it Boyz?) absolutely DESTROYED Mini-Dust tonight. I could hardly watch, I had to turn away! I know he's probably trained to take bumps('midget wrestling' is hot... depending on who you ask... cough cough Borash cough), but that was sick!

I swear, I thought he was dead. I'm watching and checking to see if he's breathing, it was that sick.

Man alive.

That was insane. These guys are not only awesome at taking the brunt of their moves while making them look sick, they also are benefitting from sweet bumping by all who cross them.

What a Manuever!

Kayfabe-wise, we should all tip a forty for Minidust. Because the way he got F'Qed up by the Island Boyz tonight, I don't think We'll EVER see him again.

I mean, c'mon! His spine was turned into applesauce!!

This could only have been better if Bobby Heenan had been there and said, “Mini-Dust. He was 28 years old.”

On a somewhat related note, don't you think that they should have bring a possibly forgotten companion to Mini-Dust?

Or, even better:

Wait, that would be Stephanie McMahon.

Just saw the first few lines of a WWE.com article about Minidust:

SEATTLE – Aug. 12, 2002 – Mini-Dust, of course, is not really a clone. The man who played Mini-Dust tonight is actually 33-year-old Jeff Patterson, a Seattle native who currently resides in Tucson, Ariz., and wrestles for independent promotions across the country as “Pitbull Patterson.”

WHAT?!?!?!?! You're saying Mini-Dust isn't really a clone???? YOU LIED TO US! YOU USED US!

Next thing you're going to say is that the Easter Bunny isn't real, either.

...you're joking...

OK, I'm going to go somewhere and cry now. I think I need a hug.

That was fairly insane, and except for the fact that he was breathing (and moving slightly, go ahead watch the tape), it really did look like it killed him.

It would be nice to see some WWE talent take bumps like Mini-Dust did.

I was watching the show with my girlfriend and she really hated seeing the Island Boyz destroy Dust, but it was really, really cool, IMHO. Insane bumps, for sure...and I offer kudos to the little guy. He rocks for taking the shots and moves.

Then again, when I heard that Lillian Garcia was decimated by the guys, I cheered. I never saw it (damn TSN/CRTC censors) but I thought that it was good. No more screwing up wrestlers names! Yay!

So you missed the Lance Storm/Christian thing, then.

My girlfriend had the TV put on mute when she wanted to talk to me! I tried in vain to get the TV back on, but she didn't relent. It was Lance Storm, dammit!!!

I swear, I regret getting my girlfriend interested in wrestling now. She picks the most inopportune times to turn the volume off and talk to me. Especially when my favorite characters are on.

oh well...that's Elisa for you.

I seriously got the impression if they would have let him go, minidust would have rocketed into the third row of the crowd

Yea, I think Jerry Lawler wrestles for some indy feds whenever he wants. Although he most likely has to get a WWE ok first. I think he wrestled again sometime last week or so.
