Y'know, I realize that they had to devote much of last week to post-wrestlemania/pre-split storylines, but I think the WWF missed the chance to give us one of the best moments of recent television.

Just imagine, the announcers introduce a piece of "Stirring videotape that should remind us all of the really important things in this world"

The music starts...it's U2's "A Beautiful Day".

We see footage of a stretcher being rolled out of an operating room---it' LUCY! We get to see a montage of her daring rehab set to the triumphant U2 song.

Come on, you know you'd laugh. :-)

I presumed Lucy dead.

Ya know, like Matilda.

But then again I'm an optimist...I thought Trish had torched her knee at 'Mania....

The Boss Man is still on the roster...it can happen again.

I was born in a manger, like that other guy. You know, he wore a hat?

Where is Haku? Randy Orton? Sanders? Jindrak? They should have been part of the draft...

As a side note, ol' Blue pants is Shimmer indie wrestler Leva Bates who's gimmick is comic books. The show had gusto. I'm digging Zayn getting angry at not being able to pull off the big wins.
