Firstly i would like to say i love benoit..i've been a fan ever since his early WCW days...I love him as the world champ but the whole fighting against all odds is getting too old...i mean it was really entertaining at first, but now its just stale and old. They did the same thing with bradshaw and Eddie on Smackdown and i got sick of that too. I think Eddie and Benoit were great champions and they should be champions for a long time but they got to think of a new storyline besides Benoit getting the crap beaten outta him by Evolution and then fighting against all odds to beat HHH. I like the new Eddie/Angle angle cause its something new and refreshing instead of Eddie getting screwed over and over again.

Don't worry, this title reign's just about over. I'm sure Benoit will have plenty of fun storylines later:

being the surprise father of Lita's baby

catching pet mice for Eugene

repackaged as the salty captain of the "Filthy Whore," while making life hell for the young fancy lad, Nathanial Mayweather.

Well, it started with Eddie being screwed out of winning the title in the cage match.

Vince is usually a couple of years behind popular trends, so we're just about due for a Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired character. Of course knowing WWE, they'll repackage Test as Nathanial Mayweather.

Actually, now that I think about it, A-Train with a pirate gimmick would rule the world.

Ha ha ha! I guess the Cabin Boy reference went over somebody's head. Personally, I think the Cabin Boy storyline would kick ass, provided that Big Show is given the Mulligan gimmick, and John Tenta comes back as Sharky...

Of course, Zach Gowen could make his return as Pegleg Pete, the one legged pirate.
Or, they could bring back Jean Pierre Lafitte- the evil pirate who stole Bret Hart's leather jacket...or something like that.

I'll say this much for Benoit. He's gone from being a "Vanilla Midget" to the Raw champ. Although his mic skills are a bit dry, his in-ring work is damn good. Gone are the days of Kevin Nash who wrestled like he was swimming in quicksand. He will not be champ after SS, but his reign was entertaining and eventful.

How about a heel turn? IDK.

However, if he isn't going to be champion after SS, what is he going to do? I pray he stays in the main event frame.

Here's hoping this is the gimmick they give Nova when they finally call him up.

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

Well, apparently that was just a cover story, because it turns out (per PWInsider) Jeff's been suspended for 30 days, meaning he's missing Summer Slam. Looks to be a "wellness policy" situation.
