There was a danger in this becoming one of the horrible RTD finales. The thing about all the people wanting to save the doctor reminded me too much of the master story. Thankfully, moffat is better than that. Loved the call out to the brigadier and nick courtneys passing. We apparently will see the doctor companion less in time for the xmas episode, perhaps written by charles dickens. And i presume nerds across the pond have spent tonight writing fan fic about amy bond in her suit and blazing machine guns. Hopefully, the latest soft reboot for the doctor will see more science foction and less fairy tales and nursery rhymes.
I enjoyed it even though I thought it lacked the impact the RTD finale and even last year's finale. The Brigadier's death was a nice gesture on their part. I am not sure of the Doctor being hidden is a good idea. Eventually, someone is going to figure it out. It would be different if he regenerated and pulled this stunt I could buy it, but not as he is. Loved the cameos though. It topped off a rather weak season. There were probably 5 good to great episodes this season. Its better than season 3 which to me was the worst season, but I did not enjoy it like I did the other seasons.
The Wee Baby Sheamus.
Twitter: @realjoecarfley its a bit more toned down there. A bit.
A pretty big question was raised this week: Does Coulson know his death was used by Fury to motivate The Avengers? I ask because Coulson attempted to contact Thor this week, only to be told by Fury "Thor is off the grid.
