They showed them moving pretty big bags of goods around for the prisoners portion. Which they pretty much get back now.

Wasn't there a prison scene in an area in the prison that was fully stocked with loads of food? Enough food that they were even willingly going to give some away to the ex-cons if they stayed on their side?

Also, didnt Michonne take care of a good number of The Governer's right hand men that took out that National Gaurd group while they were stalking her?

My take on those subjects is that both of those points are well enough covered in the previous episodes. Maybe they could call a little more attention to the little details more frequently, but I think they did enough to answer those questions to make it believable. .

The real question is, who cut all the grass at the prison before the group arrived there? That was some pretty short grass for a year or so of growth.

I get it that as far as food and ammo goes you have to take the Dharma view and just go along with there are enough supplies, bu- no there is always another bunker. I just think it would add to the desperation, splitting up the group to go on Hynduai runs like they were with formula. If splitting up the numbers makes the zombies a threat again then please split up the numbers.

I'm not a comic reader so my view on Woodbury may differ than those that read, but it is no longer a compelling place. The Governor is not a great actor and sort of has a poorly written character the last couple of episodes. Andrea now holds the title for most unlikable, there is some nerdy guy, and a bunch of generic people in the who may as well wear red shirts, and don't expect me to get attached to some girl who thinks she is a good shot because she had a couple of lines.

Don't forget I really like this show. I know there are only about 40 minutes of show to work with along with AMC's budget. I'm picking on it, but this show wasted a ton of time on the farm last year and we never got a character as compelling as Ben, John Locke or Sawyer, the closest we got was probably Daryl. I have high hopes for Tyrese and I still believe Michone can become somebody, but we will see.

If you don't like the Governor then you might as well quit the show. He is 1000 times better than he is in the comic.
Michonne being better is just stupid. She is perfectly fine as the quiet ninja. I am tired of hearing, she is s bad character just because she doesn't give the ID4 speech every episode. The talky shit is for everyone else

A lot of your complaints have more to do with not paying attention. Yes, they spent way too much time on the farm. Yet, that was done to develop Glenn/Maggie and end Shane/Rick. As well as flesh Hershel and the others. Plus, why leave a farm in an apocalypse? And if Lost is your idea of good TV, och.

I don't know where this idea that they have loads of food and ammo and weapons comes from.

1. When Rick meets the prisoners the prisoners ask to spot them some weapons to clear out a cell block. Rick asks how much food they have and they tell him "there's only a little left". They lead them to the food and it's a tiny storage room that isn't even big enough for three of them to stand in.

2. The Ricktatorship decides to help the prisoners clear out their cell block because they can't spare the weapons. So how do they have lots of weapons? The prisoners didn't have any, they had one gun a guard gave them.

3. A lot of the security guards were not killed, they abandoned their posts. I'm pretty sure if I'm working security at a prison that I know how to handle a gun and if I'm going out into a zombie apocalypse I'm going to take all the weapons I can find.

4. If there is a room full of supplies to fight a war then how come they're all wearing t-shirts and a ranger outfit? Wouldn't this magical room of supplies also have some kind of protective gear? Hell, the Shield is better prepared for a zombie apocalypse and as far as I know John Cena, Sheamus and Ryback don't eat brains. Well, maybe Ryback.

Lucky you, I enjoy the show so I bought the Walking Dead compedium thinking I'd probably like it. It's a terrible comic, big waste of money. The video game is excellent though.

Insert The Miz's "seriously?" schtik here. Michonne is one of the worst characters on television. Characters that don't talk are only useful if they are thinkers instead (like say, Snake Eyes in G. I. Joe) but Michonne has shown to be arguably the least intelligent person on the show. If she doesn't talk and she doesn't think then she's just a blank slate carrying a sword.

As for Lost? Whatever dude. Lost wasn't a great written show after a while and had a lot of plot holes but as far as interesting characters and the actors that played them--which is the reason Lost was brought up--The Walking Dead is far, far behind. Even the best character on the Walking Dead, Daryl, is a poor man's Sawyer.

This has turned into one of your weird TNA arguments. You are fighting against things I never said and backed it up with things that make no sense. In fact you may have even argued both sides of the coin on some of this.

I should have done what I normally do and just skipped over your first post, so I take some of the blame here. However, I do like the discussion it has created so hopefully the rest of you didn't get scared off with the nonsense.

Hyperbole aside, they're not really pulling Michonne off well. She's a little too subtle, and it's causing viewers trouble in relating to the character. But that character has a ton of potential if they can figure out a way to make her engaging.

I think Andrea suffers from a similar problem. I always felt she got a bad rap, as she's was a consistent mess since her sister died, but now the Governor has all but told her he's a lying sociopath - and her response to that is to give 'winning hearts and minds' speeches enticing Woodbury residents to stay - she either needs to embrace the hate or to go back to the group. Anything else just makes her stupid.

I think one major mistake they made was revealing the Governor's motives too soon. It would have been much more powerful if they would have left him a bit of a mystery and then all at once pulled the cover back to reveal that he is, in fact, a nutjob.

Michonne is great in the comic because she has such a strong, confident voice. She also joined up with Rick and the Gang almost right away. In the TV show, she has played the mysterious stranger who nobody understands or can trust for way too long and it has diluted the core of her character (if indeed the show's goal is for her to take on a similar role as in the comics, which it very well may not be).

I also think Andrea has been written very stupidly this season, but I can see some of the logic behind it. There is a cute (but maybe a little too cute) dichotomy between her acceptance of Woodbury's luxury resort atmosphere and her ninja survival buddy's violent rejection of it.
