One kept his daughter zombie in a cage, and the other is hearing voices and seeing ghosts. One demands the handover of a living human, and the other actually considers it. Heavy and crazy is the head that wears the crown.

    Rick kicked him out of the prison. My assumption was that Woodbury was better than wandering around in the woods with the Walkers.

You gotta wonder if Tyrese might be thinking that wandering the woods with walkers isn't so bad. He's been kicked out of one sanctuary by a group who follows a crazy armed guy who sees dead people. He now is starting to learn that his current place feeds people to walkers, hosts WalkerMania (I love that, btw) and is somehow scary enough that people are willingly leaving it's safety to try their luck with Team Crazy at the prison.

The show's just shifted too far in favor of the battle of Survivors vs. Survivors instead of balancing that with the whole "The dead have come back to life and are coming to eat us!!!!!"

I understand this, but I think people need to be realistic about how much the show can rely on zombies as the focus. We're through three seasons and 33 episodes of the show, and there's only so much they can do with zombie "characters," considering they can't speak and can't think for themselves. I get that people like seeing the zombies go splat, but how many different ways can you tell the same story of the group fending off the zombies without focusing on actual, living characters that viewers can (at least in theory) relate to?

It makes sense that the longer the show goes on, the more the survivors are able to take care of themselves and plot ways to make the zombies as ineffectual as possible. That's what has pretty much happened, and I don't have a problem with that.

I think it's very realistic that the only real strengths that zombies have. The only reason a zombie apocalypse could happen, is the element of surprise. People disbelieving what's going on around them. After a certain amount of time, you really won't have to worry about them any more.

What you have to worry about is the post-apocalyptic scenario that you're in after the collapse after civilization has ended.

Also, not that it's going on here, but there's something about this show that makes people unable to complain accurately. They'll bitch for weeks that the show is "nothing but talking" and then the morgan episode happens and everyone talks about how great all that talking was.

When you have a guy that can keep the electricity on during a Apocalypse, you cut him a lot of slack.

So, we get real horror movie elements and people are complaining? Ok. I will say at least Tyresse showed some balls and straight thinking. So, anyone notice the Governor was hiding his hand. I think he got bite.

Most likely to die: The Governor, Hershel, Tyrese's wife(?)

On a side note: What if Milton is The Governor's brother?? Has there been anything to rule this out?

Why didn't Andrea take the Guv's truck when she was leaving the factory?

That's the sort of thing that makes me crazy. He was busy with the stairwell swarm -- she had time. If he had the keys, & she couldn't start it, then at least disable it, just in case. Check for the inevitable additional weapons that are probably in the truck.

After her sidearm is taken away, in all of Woodbury, there isn't a single walker-defensive weapon she could have laid hands on before hopping the fence? Besides her cute little knife, there isn't even a pointy stick? Much less kitchen knives, gardening tools & other ad hoc weaponry?

Somebody remind me: How far is it from Woodbury to the prison? It was daytime when she bailed out of Woodbury, evening when the Guv caught up to her at the factory, & daytime again when she got to the prison. I don't recall it took her anywhere near that long last time she went cross-country, even with a homemade pet along.

She really didn't have any other option for killing the Guv after the moment when Milton kept her from shooting him from the dungeon balcony? I really didn't find Milton's "but you don't know him like I do" speech to be all that compelling.

There was a lot in this episode that drove me crazy.

      1) are rooting on the Governor;
      2) think the Governor is barely worse of a person than Rick;
      3) think no one cares about Andrea and/or Milton.

      I couldn't disagree with you more on ALL of the above.

    I concur with all of this. A show about a post-apocalyptic world filled with zombies that brings out the worst in the human survivors also, perhaps not coincidentally, brings out some of the worst instincts of many people watching. Not pointing any fingers here, mind you, just my observation from what I hear from people and have seen on the Internettings.

A post apocalyptic world of human survivors should be compelling and this is where the show has failed. We are basically rooting for shallow shell characters. They have for the most part been painted with broad strokes and we the viewers have been left with filling in the depth of the characters ourselves.

I always thought this show would benefit from Lost type character flashbacks. They wouldn't have to be as in depth, but they would help us get some idea why people are the way they are. For instance Michone has been glaring and doing her thing for a year now and I know no more about her than I did when she first showed up chained to zombies. You can't blame people for rooting for generic walkers when they are mostly chasing down generic humans.

Nothing benefit from the Lost flashbacks not even Lost.
