Originally posted by CRZIn my mind, there were two really obvious picks this week. I TOTALLY locked in Dallas at first...and then a little voice in my head told me "St. Louis is much more likely to get the upset than the Chiefs. The Chiefs are AWFUL. Besides, you want to save the Dallas pick!"
Exactly my thinking. That's why I am now a spectator.
CRZ had to edit my profile and close my table for me before, but I did this one all by myself with Frosty's help!

Well, he's finally right.
The Giants, huh? That's an interesting choice.

Am I right in thinking everybody reamining had/has already picked New England?
Looking at the group picks, everyone who's left has picked the Patriots. The two who got eliminated had not picked New England. Saving those good teams doesn't really work when you never get to pick them.
The second biggest favorite on the board right now is Dallas (home vs Minn), but everyone left has picked Dallas.
Depending on how the Giants look tonight, it should be them or the Redskins (+7.5 home versus Tim Rattay's Cardinals) as the next best choice.
I'm still alive in a survival league that had about 15,000 entries, and has a top prize of $5,000. I'm very lucky to be there. I hadn't made a pick in week 2, and the rules of that league state that you get the first team alphabetically. Luckily, Arizona won that game, and somehow I've survived until now (possibly longer than I ever have, we're down to about 500 entries). Used New England in week 5, and Philadelphia in week 6. I have to remember to keep making picks though, because the next team alphabetically is Atlanta, which I don't really trust.
Let's break the table and see who the six remaining have used as picks thus far.

Interesting that of this group, nobody's used a pick on "sure thing" Green Bay yet. ;-)
My list was not meant to be exhaustive, but yes, I think it's safe to say all those guys with the possible exception of one or two were great college quarterbacks, as were virtually all of the quarterbacks who have won the Heisman.
